They both can lead you to a ban if you use it wrong. They got banned probably because they were doing dirty stuff while on CFW (piracy, cheating, installing something not recognized by Nintendo... When installing .NSP, you're basically writing something into the NAND. When booting into the CFW you're not... simply because of this you can't compare both as the same thing. Also you need CFW to install .NSP... If you don't get what I said about layers, you better search the difference...- gutoblauth

The quoted post is my only question. It's safe to run legit games, with ingonito off and play online using atmosphere and only that?
