    Homebrew SSB Charged v1.0.2 Beta

I've posted this over at the source too, but I'll post it here for the sake of discussion. ________________________________________ I appreciate that maybe you don't have the time to spend to create your own menus, but stealing them is not the way to do it. My team and I worked for quite a...

    Hacking Supercard DStwo plug-ins

The version of SSB Clash listed there is really, really old. The most recent one is here. Thanks.

Homebrew Super Smash Bros Crash! DS Demo 9 Version (WIP) (DS Entry)

Tends to be what happens when you just wholesale steal sprites from other projects instead of working on them.

Homebrew Super Smash bros on the DS

You have to use the touch screen for selecting characters at the moment (hand and discs coming soon). To activate a player, tap on the player box until they're the correct type (P1/CPU) and then tap a character icon.

Homebrew Super Smash bros on the DS

I prefer to have a lot of control over the engine, and creating it using source code allows me to do that better than hacking an existing game would. Also, it would be really cumbersome to add in all of the other features needed of a SSB game.

Homebrew Super Smash bros on the DS

That's a strange bug. Was Shadow dead as well, or just Sonic and Knuckles?

Concerns of core partially melting at Fukushima nuke plant

Well, this was the fifth largest earthquake in recorded history, so it's not like the normal earthquakes they experience.

    Homebrew Super Smash Bros. Clash!

Alright, The project isn't dead, we released something for Christmas last year and have been updating ever since. I haven't updated this thread because I can't edit the first post and without being able to do that, I can't keep it adequately updated. I'm not going to debate with Fishaman about...

Homebrew Super Smash bros on the DS

The next public release will include exportable save files so that you can carry your stuff over. The files will only work with the release subsequently following it though, so if you want to keep carrying it through, you'll have to move the saveFile through each version that we release. The...

Homebrew Super Smash bros on the DS

For SSB Clash, I post updates regularly on my blog: swiftystudios.blogspot.com And in the interests of fairness, you can find Rumble at: ssb-rumble.info And Crash at: ssbcrashds.blogspot.es/ (But it's in Spanish).

Homebrew Is there a simple way to make the DS switch display screens?

I'm fairly sure that all you need to do is to change the mainOnTop to mainOnBottom (or vice versa) within the ljds.c (or whatever it's specifically called). Or when I get around to updating, there's a swapScreens function you can trigger using an unused button or combination.

Homebrew Is there a simple way to make the DS switch display screens?

Actually, if the code was using a relatively recent version of the devKit, then it'd be really simple.

Homebrew Is there a simple way to make the DS switch display screens?

I've got the source for the game you linked, and I know how to compile it to display the main screen on the bottom. I'll recompile it like that and upload it to filetrip or something for you. It's also quite possible that I can add in the X+Y+A+B thing for you. EDIT: The last time this code...

    CycloDS iEVO

I was a part of the DSTwo beta, and am also a part of the iEvo developers pre-release. The reason why the iEvo may be more popular is (from what I'm given to understand) that you just add some lines to libnds in order to use the DSi clock speed etc whereas DSTwo has a full SDK. Pros and Cons for...

    Homebrew SSB Clash Rebirth

Thanks! In the near future I'm cleaning up some of the code to optimise it, and fixing some minor bugs. After that, I'll have to take into account feedback from everyone. I'll also be adding in some more characters (including Ike) and some more stages. @Rockstar There are currently 12...

Homebrew Super Smash Bros Rumble Trailer

You do have a lot of attacks, that isn't disputable. However they feel a little off for some reason. Also, that's a little misleading there. If you don't have grab, then you don't have any of the four throws by default, and I assume you don't have final smashes in either (but I could be wrong)...
