Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

Just trying to get an idea how many people would like this to be updated. Was thinking of making it compatible with the Wii U's vWii as well.

It should display it quickly after installing all the wads in wii mod batch. You shouldn't have to run ios236 installer after you have run wii mod batch... -Erik

No arguments from me, modmii is awesome, I just wish people including yourself would have more of a response than "use modmii" (especially when modmii doesn't fix his problem). -Erik

Why don't you give him a little more help than simply use modmii? That advice won't fix his problem since it sounds like he is attempting to launch games from the disc channel... I am all for people using what is best and all, but simply replying to every question someone has with "use modmii"...

Not sure on why priiloader is giving that error. Is it a custom system menu that you have installed? In regards to the hard drive issue, I noticed it happens with other wall powered drives when they spin down. -Erik

Ooh, I recompiled the installer, but not the actual priiloader app (doh). I'll fix it in the next couple of days. Off to work for now. -Erik

Correct. When you launch games from the sd card, it temporarily copies it to the nand each time you run it. When you install it to the nand, and run it from the nand, it isn't writing to the nand everytime. -Erik

The only difference is the r26 is compiled with r26 of devkitppc which should make it compatible with the new wiimotes. -Erik

@[member='actar'] and @[member='XFlak'] I uploaded a recompiled version in the tools folder here. If someone could let me know if it works with a new Wii, it would be appreciated. I simply updated devkitpro and recompiled. -Erik

Yup, I've been meaning to do that, and redo the mod of wii mod, but I just started working graveyard and my sleeping schedule has been all sorts of f'd. I'll see if I can knock it out this weekend. -Erik

Just so others know. Using the built in wad manager in wii mod is the solution. -Erik
