Tutorial Rudimentary Mac Cycler for Linux

That is excellent! I've just been backgrounding my script with ctrl+z to pause it, but the fact that it remembers the last address it used is great. If my work got somebody with more skills to make (and publicly post) a truly useful Linux homepass, I'm happy.

Tutorial Rudimentary Mac Cycler for Linux

That's awesome! Thanks! Also, I use automatic cycling to let my console streetpass for pokemiles. The cap there is 99 tags, and you usually only get 1 every relay or so. For my purposes, it's more practical to run through a ton of MACs quickly without having to interact with the machine.

Tutorial Rudimentary Mac Cycler for Linux

(Disclaimer: I don't code, so much as I just hack around with random Internet searches. At this point in time, scripted input and random number generation is beyond anything that I am capable of and/or willing to spend the time to do for this script. So for now, this script is sequential.) What...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Hello. I lurk GBAtemp all the time. Decided I'd add to HomeBunny's little script for Linux. This one has all 161 of the extended Prime macs in it available to be called. (It's amazing what the find and replace function can accomplish.) Functions just like it did before, except the "SpoofX"...

    Pandora to cost $500

Just to clarify, this is just a move by the Pandora team to strum up extra cash to hire assemblers so they can get more units out. As far as I know, the $500 price tag is not permanent, and is essentially for preorderers who want to jump to the front of the line for a fee. I'm one of those...

    Homebrew WADS vs emulation

I prefer homebrew emulators because I have ~100 NES roms, ~50 SNES roms, and ~30 Sega Genesis roms. Said emulators have well polished GUIs and tons of features, Troythezombie's channels are nice too. I couldn't live without snapshots, multiple files, cheats, and throttling...

Hacking Cover Flow USB ISO Loader by Beardface

I am thoroughly impressed. Great work! By far the best usb loader I have used.

    Hacking Loadstructor

About how long should it take for the WAD to be created? I have tried multiple times and the program always hangs. Trying the latest one now. Edit: Still no luck, the program just hangs after I click "Run"

Hacking Bootmii to be relased in 2 days

I lol'd. Bootmii would be nice, but it's not that necessary if you have menu 4.0 with preloader. It's much better, but still not absolutely necessary. We're just going to have to be patient. :S

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

If the fuse is bad, will it still be in tact? There is no gap between the points, so I don't know if mine are bad or not. As for the battery, I checked it with a multimeter and it reads 3.8v, should be providing plenty of power.

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

I doubt it's the battery, but it's worth a try. I'm going to town tonight, so I might be able to pick one up. Likewise, if anyone finds a fix please tell me.

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

I"ve tried reconnecting the ribbon cables several times (and I believe if that's the case, the unit will at least turn on, then shut back off after POST occurs) I'll try to find a working battery and see how that goes.

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

Lol, I can get a battery for $3.62 shipped. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13321 For now, I'll just try to get my hands on a test battery (I know a guy who runs/owns a pawn shop)

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

The battery was working fine before I started working on it; could I have fried the battery somehow while working on it? (Also, I don't have access to another battery, so I would need some other way to test it unless I wanted to wait two weeks.)

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

I almost certainly won't take it to a repair shop and I definitely won't buy another. If I can't fix it myself (or get my friends to fix it), I'll just wait it out for the Pandora. Tonight I'm going to take it apart and put it back together again, just to see if something is amiss.

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

The thing doesn't even flash its screens; it's not actually going through PaOST to check for them. I have no earthly idea where to start, so I thought I'd come here. The unit is at home nd I'm not, so I guess the tinkering will have to wait until then.

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

Heh, I'm willing to put about 50 bucks into another DS, but at this point I really want to see if I can repair this one just for the fun of it,

    Hacking Busted DS Phat

So, my DS Phat has been sitting around in my room for about 5 months, busted. I bought a decent mp3 player, but it's not filling the void. The hinge cracked and then I tried a case replacement, when I had nearly wrapped it up, I ruined something. Here are the symptoms: 1. Power button is...
