    Hacking VitaCheat/FinalCheat Database

Some notes about Super Hydorah . The Max Weapon Power only affects the first weapon. Each other weapon has their own power meter. Instant Shield only works once per life/stage transition and it's possible to die afterwards. The Ancient Sword is a much better alternative to the Stealth...

With the seg0 and seg1 annoyance, it's kinda harder to make finalized codes. But the address difference is 0010000 anyway. Well actually tried and made codes for DJMAX Technika Tune and Gundam Breaker 3 in the Meantime.

Observation on Darkest Dungeon Codes (EUR). One Hit Kill - Does not work if the attack is a Critical Hit, it uses the unmodified damage of a hero. Codes with [All Players] - If your hero list is more than 4, the code only works on the last 4 slots on your hero list. To make the code work on...

Been checking out Dragon Quest Heroes II (looking for the weapon address blocks but no luck on that). Found something really weird about how levels and stats work in this game. Also checking out Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society and found out how characters and items (except how to...

I think I just hit the jackpot over weapon customization in Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires. Going to test.

Disgaea 4 code making seems interesting. I can't use any B200 codes here so might as well start my own musings and see what I can find. Though there's a few codes I'm interested in finding. An Auto Stage Clear Code to make any tedious Item World stuff trivial. Infinite Actions/Moves is next...

Ooh... impressive amount of new codes! Though I just check if the codes have "B200" or something similar to them and instantly means "well that's definitely not compatible with older vitacheat versions!" these days.

No equip multiple gear codes? It's actually one of the first things I tried on Dragon's Crown since all magic abilities on equipment works as long as they're equipped.

Well playing Gundam Break 3: Break Edition in the meantime, there's already codes for it but strangely no in battle codes. Thankfully the game is not a dynamic address game. Already made a Always Max Awakening Gauge Code, looking for No Cooldown for EX Actions and Options codes.

Tried out making codes for Blazblue: Chronophantasma Extend. It's pretty easy enough with just one big problem, the game crashes alot. You can't even make a memory dump without it crashing midway.

If I remember it right, all newer codes here use the version z.06 which requires 3.65 firmware. Pretty much my dilemma since currently on 3.60 and might have to read everything again and break things.

Good news - actually got to make a code for Darusburst CS (Infinite Burst, can do others once i get through this roadblock) Bad News - The pointers I got doesn't seem to work, I might try to search for 10000 or 100000 max offset but I might never find the thing.

DW8: Empires is kinda weird to me. Sometimes the codes don't work but after closing and starting the game again it works. Still, try the alternate ones I also made. # Title: Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires # ID: PCSE00800 # Region: USA # Version: 1.01 # Type: NoNpDRM # Created by Suiseiseki _V0...

    Hacking VitaCheat/FinalCheat Database

I'll be able to get a more detailed explanation in a few days but so far I can modify nearly everything character stat-wise and items. The thing I'm looking for is the Tech tables. This game is weird in terms of memory and where codes are placed.

Adding Romancing Saga 3 to my code workings. Bleh, the game is a dynamic address one. I was able to get the character data and item data at least. Romancing Saga 3 Item Code List items (FFFFFFFF - none equipped) 00 - balm 01 - quality balm 02 - supreme balm 03 - panacea 04 - depetrifier 05...

and now with the rtx video upscaling, and sdr->hdr conversion, even more reason to go nvidia
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
both of which work well in potplayer
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
amd is a bit cheaper though
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Cheaper and they are less stingy with the RAM not a big issue now but I can imagine in a yard or two things might be different
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Year not yard lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Interesting lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb
    +1
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
