Since you didn't say so I'll ask if you installed and used the latest Manager to transfer the game? Usually it's actually more critical to upgrade the manager than the firmware. Of course remember to "retransfer" the game using the new Manager, not just using a copy of the game you had already...
This probably means you aren't using the latest firmware/manager (31b and 31 respectively). Download and follow instructions. The official site can be slow, but check their forum at www.m3-forum.com and you'll find alternate links.
In Japan? Because the X360 is selling extremely poor in Japan. About 1000-5000 consoles per week. For comparison the PS2 regularly sells 15000-25000 units per week. Though that'll probably change now that the PS3 is out. You can find the numbers for last week here...
I most likely wouldn't have bought a DS had flashcarts not been available (same goes for my GBA), and would in turn not have bought the few retail games I own.
I do however not buy games out of guilt (not primarily anyway). Buying a used game gives me pretty much the same satisfaction as buying...
I believe there's been a version of Frotz (can be used to play A LOT of text based adventure games) converted for DSlinux. Actually the regular build of DSlinux comes with two text based adventure games, that don't need Frotz.
If I'm not mistaken there's also a version of Frotz for the GBA...
Because it comes with a RAM cart to put in the GBA slot, and because according to Opera you cannot run the browser without it. We'll have to wait and see if this can be solved for flash cart users.
I thought you might like to know that "layer" is the word you should be using. A lawyer now that's someone in the legal profession (probably good to make sure he is clean as well though). You might scare your wife if she notices that you are writing about lawyers and papers.
The two extra icons are only for NDS. If I were to boot my DSL into GBA mode I would only see six icons, just like you.
Edit: and I believe the new duotone skins are only for the 8 icon DSL menu.
I upgraded from 21b to 22, without using the game manager to replace my games and saves. I did however format the card before I replaced them (actually I formatted both before and after the firmware flash).
I'm pretty sure you can downgrade.
If it is the firmware itself that's causing your...
The setup is incredibly easy. Just run it, select your inserted memory card, and uncheck all the cart types that doesn't apply to yours. It will install directly to your card.
