Okamiden (USA) was just dumped and it says in the nfo that NDS Backup Tool was used instead of Wooddumper. Does this mean that the header is guaranteed bad?

When should Wooddumper be used? On newer games only? DSi games? All games?

If newer games only, did something change in recent roms that made NDS Backup Tool obsolete?

Has NDS Backup Tool dumped the header incorrectly all along, did it only mess up occasionally, or has it only not worked properly for more recent games?

So basically I would like to know why Wooddumper is the preferred tool now.

Oh, and is there any way I can tell if a header has been dumped incorrectly by hex editing the rom or using a tool of some sort?

I looked in the nfos of Wooddumper and found this:
"Some "problematic" (512 byte data buffer) cards gave out FF-filled / replicated / undumpable headers with standard tools, even with our patched Rudolph's tools."

So this means that NDS Backup Tool worked fine for older games, just some new games have that problematic 512 byte data buffer, which cause bad headers. So Wooddumper should be used on games with that data buffer.

Now the questions are:

How would I be able to tell if the header/card has a 512 byte data buffer?

Is there any way I can tell if a header has been dumped incorrectly by hex editing the rom or using a tool of some sort?
