You don't. Admins and mods have access to that kinda thing, but you have no need for that kind of information. If you want to know more about a user, ask them instead of stalking their IP.

    Exactly what Scarlet said.

First of all, why would you want to know someones IP? have you got any malicious intents that the staff need to know bout?
Second, if you want to know them, just ask them.

Considering the person asking this question is one of the main shitposters on temp (even if this one specializes in profile posts), this is really not the kind of info regular users should have and it's a good thing they don't. With someone's IP you can geolocate them to a very accurate degree (depending on country and region can even be 2-3 blocks away if in a city), so we are talking about dangerous stuff here! Now, isn't it about time this question got deleted?:/

If you have a custom server hosting an image and then hotlink that image on a thread, whenever anyone views that page they will request the image from your server, giving the ip address of everyone who viewed that page.

Afterwards it's just a matter of figuring out who's who while hoping that person didn't use multiple internet sources of (realistically) has a dynamic address.

If you dont know how to get their ip, you wouldn't know what to do with it.

Better to then ask "How would I prevent myself from being tracked?".

You don't have to worry about members finding you via ip. Most often an ip needs to be fished with ip lookup links.

I typed up a detailed tutorial on how to dox people out of sarcasm, but decided against posting. Honestly, people will more likely dox you by what you willingly share. And to be extra careful, just don't be a dick. There's always a way to find someone. It's just a matter of how hard you make them work for it and how willing you've made them.

    Guys, the question is closed.
    I think.
And just because I'm a stalker doesn't mean [s]I'll stalk you[/s] I'll use this information.

@Spectral Blizzard You may not have a fellow Temper's IP. I hope the fact that you will never get it tears you apart mentally and emotionally.
    Have a shit day.

If you're worried about being tracked, then you should be using a VPN to start. If someone really wants to get your IP, they'll get it. So stay safe.

Primary Answer: You don't. You have no use for a person's IP Address. If you're worried about being tracked or DDoSed with your IP, use a VPN.
Secondary Answer: Go on YouTube and search "HOW 2 GET IP OF ANYONE LEGIT WORKING 2018 NO SCAM NO VIRUS NO DOWNLOAD NO IP" and click on the first result.
