Homebrew "002-0119" error does not allow me to play online

So i have my 3ds on firmware 11.2.0-35U. I dont know how to update my 3ds since im on custom firmware but my question is. Is there a way to bypass this error, or should i just update my 3ds, and if i were to update my 3ds how would i do that?

There is an (homebrew or cfw) app to bypass it.
You can update it in the 3ds settings. But I reccomand to first fallowing the 3ds.guide to get cfw. (if you havent already)
