Famicoms are notoriously hard to tune in to on western tellies, watch an instructable on YT. I believe it's channel 93,5, not sure what UHF value that is. If you have an old VCR or a DVD player with coax in, tune through that, it's easier.

Sad to hear that. It's probably the TV that's incompatible, it's a hard channel to tune into. Worst-case scenario you'll have to mod the system for Composite output. ;)
