Well I've tried 100 times, best I can get is some kinda timeout after 20 mins sitting on the pegaswitch screen. It's not like the website isn't working, it is working for others. Tried a 64 gb sd card FAT32, a 4gb sd card FAT32. I don't see how I messed anything up with such simple instructions I should be golden.

SF3 3rd Strike working. :) edit: fixed nocrop. :)

Solution for the album loading, although "Run" went through, is to run "Run" again, without reboot.
Also in FBA kit + and - and set the selection menu from "all romms" to "only working roms" otherwise you will scroll yourself to sleep... ;)

Well I think I dig out the 2002-2007 problem; stating at what is said at switchbrew error codes page, 002 is FS module while range between 2000 - 2499 is the error code for fail accessing SD: so this error COULD be related to bad/incompatible/crappy microSD. I changed 3 microSD but no way to get past the "stuck at PegaSwitch screen" (the 2002-2007 error was received by my switch only 3 times for now).

Module 168 is "userland crash" and I can understand that: the exploit is not succesful but something in memory got corrupted so I got an error.

Module 11 is HIPC (IPC) and error code 301 seems to be remote process is dead and this can be understandable.

I still cannot figure out when pressing install = stuck at PegaSwitch screen... no errors (and this is the 95% of the time)...

I said screw it and updated to 4.1.0. Needed that sweet eshop access. I'm much more confident that 4.1.0 will get it's day soon. For now, I wanna buy the games I've been missing out on.

Hi, here is maybe the first homebrew for the launcher !! :) My Final Burn Alpha port running on the switch. Put pfba.nro in "/switch/pfba" and roms in "/switch/pfba/roms/". No audio, input a little crappy in the menu but SF3 3rd Strike does run fullspeed for example :)

Good to see you making stuff for the Switch.. Good times ahead me thinks ;)
Thanks mate :)

I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. I've gotten each of the errors listed in this thread a 0002 a 0001 a 0003 a 0007 and more I can't recall. I get Mii errors (2812-0001). Am I supposed to have a Mii? I was told below I don't need a Mii or a Nintendo account. I've tried tethering the phone instead of using my Wifi. I've tried 2 sd cards, 4 and 64gb formatted with fat32format gui. If I have it exFat I'm asked to update. It has been said not to accept this update as it could contain a firmware update. Others have reported using multiple cards without success. I've seen reports of people with higher capacity sd cards having success. I tried having homebrew .nros in the "switch/" directory but I haven't gotten access to them so I don't think that matters. Still just staring at the Pegaswitch logo. Sometimes the little spinning wheel in the bottom left spins more than other times. If you leave it stuck there, you'll error out eventually, 20-30 mins in (2011-0301). Not worth the wait I don't think. Most people just have it work within seconds, from the videos anyway. I feel like the webpage with the exploit is pretty responsive, although others have said that they could be experiencing heavy traffic, many are able to use the service without issue, so I don't feel like the issue is that the exploit host is overloaded.

I have watched the videos. There is a post just one post down that explains very well in text how the process should work. One video shows a dude just pressing run and it works, I bet he got 1337 before that because I've tried just run and go to the album, and get an error. I've tried install, wait a few mins after nothing has happened and hit "back", click run which tells you that the window will close, hit ok, go to album and have had no error, just the album.

I have tried many many many times to hit "Install" but haven't gotten 2000-1337 which would mean a successful install.

On firmware 3.0.0 and started here
  1. Download latest nx-hbmenu.
  2. Put the hbmenu.nro on the root of your sdcard.
  3. Insert the sdcard into the device.
  4. Set your Switch DNS server to 104.236.106.125, and perform a connection test.
  5. Click "Install".
Haven't gotten further.

Just trying to edit this and help others and myself troubleshoot, the phone tether was to test if my home network might interfere with the process but, I don't think it is the problem, cause I get the same result on either network. Can't think of much that I've done differently to this switch that others might not have done. I have 3 users on the device. I have a Japanese tetris demo installed and some usa eshop games installed.. If I had a Mii, it's not on the system now, as the system said it deleted the Mii data and there are none to be found in the Mii section of settings.

The Mii corrupt and being deleted error is fine. :) Its a "sideeffect" of pegaswitch. Its supposed to be there (probably. ;) ).
And no - you dont need a Mii, or a Nintendo account for that matter. :)

What you are looking for is a 2000-1337 error, after "Install" went through successfully. After that you short press power, and the system reboots. Then you get the Mii error. Then you go through the process to hit "Run". If "Run" completes successfully, you get a notice, that the screen/app is being closed, confirm with OK. Then you have to wait for several seconds (system freezes for a short while), after that hit B (back) until you reach the home screen. On the home screen enter the Album (Gallery, Images, ...). At that point HBL should launch.

If it doesnt (and Run went through cleanly), try to run "Run" again.

If you get into a fail loop ("Run" doest do anything), reboot, and try again. (Maybe even try Install again, I did - but that you need to is not confirmed as of now.) The entire experience (launching HBL) is quite hit and miss atm. Fingers crossed that this gets ironed out over time.

Make sure you are on 3.0.0 and nothing else, make sure you use an SD card - preferably 32GB max (until it is confirmed to work with bigger sizes), formated to fat32.

Thanks for the concise information, it's a better collection of how the thing works than I've seen put together anywhere else. I'm shooting for the 1337 error, I hope I get it one day. I understand all the rest of what you're saying, and yeah maybe they can find what I'm doing wrong and fix it on their side in time.

The folder you have to put the -.nro's in for HBL to find them, has to be named swich and not /switch - btw, as was to be expected.. ;)

For my install I switched from a Mac to a Windows PC later in the process (should invisible Mac files turn out to be part of the problem). Using Windows should be fine - is what I am saying. :)

No rush. I'm waiting for a permanent solution with a proper icon on the menu. This is nothing substantial to me.

SF3 3rd Strike doesnt run full speed in all stages, btw. But in most. ;) Had noticeable lag in the Jungle stage (Totem blowing dust as an effect in the background.). Details... ;)

Tell us about this lag in details please
Well, the entire stage lagged. :) Fought Remy and was suddenly able to block all his attacks on reaction.. ;) I suspect its because of an effect in the background of the stage, but thats just me guessing.

Lag was at "playable slowmo" severeness, so definitely noticeable... ;)

Only in that one stage so far (Jungle, totems blowing dust in the background) though. :)

Version used was the european one, that FBA suggested as default.

edit: Also - the Switch "digi not exactly pad" is an issue... Fighting games that werent adapted for it require input precision thats just not there. I can do hadokens, shoryukens and 2x qcf supers, but the pull of rate is not great.. :) Also no controller remapping in the menu as of now (but its early.. :) ).

im using a 125gb sd card could that be the reason it not installing and hanging at pegaswitch screen?
