Gaming Bayonetta 2 Switch VS WII U. Can you tell the difference?

Are you impressed by the graphic differences?

So I found a comparison video on youtube from Nintendolife that compares the graphics of the game on both consoles. Be honest, can you tell a noticable difference between them? The only thing I can actually account for is the color of the switch is a lot better than wii u, anything else doesn't really seem like something noticeable.

It's just a port so there aren't going to be many graphical changes, it even looks like it's running at the same resolution. Looks like texture filtering is better, which shouldn't be surprising considering on Wii U it was just trilinear filtering. but I can't say for sure because the video quality is pretty bad.

I'm guessing the framerate will also be better, because on Wii U it struggled at parts.

No real difference, which is impressive if we get 30 FPS portable. I'll definitely be picking Bayonetta 1+2 up for $48, first time playing Bayonetta 2. No other AAAs out until March with Kirby.

Surely the graphic is much richer looking on switch, but I mean I guess I expected more, maybe some special effects, sharper crisp looking stuff, taking better advantage of the Nvidia Hardware. Probably I personally expected too much in comparison to the wii u, none of the games I seen yet seem to stand out in the initial wow factor for me, I suppose I can't expect ports to help all that much anyway. Kinda weird to see bayonetta 2 come out sooner on switch when Donkey kong country tropical freeze came out before bayonetta did on wii u. :P

Look up any other HD bayonetta 2 wii u vids and you'll see that the switch and wii u versions look pretty much identical, Nintendolife has something wrong with their wii u video capture settings that make it look more washed out when it really isn't and heres random bayo 2 wii u vid that shows how not washed out it looks on the wii u

Agreeing with the majority. The colors seemed washed out on the WiiU, but apparently, the game seems to run better on the Switch, combine that with 60FPS madness, I'm happy with the graphical changes.

As shown in the DF video, the graphics are mostly the same but the performance is much better than the Wii U, even in portable mode.

only thing holding me back from purchasing them. I know I could do the digital thing but i need a bigger card. Currently have a hare over 15 gb left...

i don't understand how they could do this to the rest of the world not providing a physical version of Bayonetta 1. If it's a Special Edition then it should be included. I honestly don't care much about a fancy steelbook.

The only thing stopping me from buying it is hoping they actually wise up and release it on cart like they should have. But then it might have been $80 for both games instead of $60, what a greedy company it has become. Your own fault for releasing these low storage cards and because you didn't want to put both games on them you include a code to download like Resident evil Revelations collection, only difference is CAPCOM IS ASKING $40 NOT $60.

What's next, you gonna announce donkey kong country returns with tropical freeze and do the same thing make it $60 and have the first game download only?

I wouldn't count on them releasing the first game as a physical format, if that's a deal breaker for your only option is to skip out on the switch version and and buy the game physically on the xbox360 (also works on xbox one x and one playing it on that gives you the highest fps out of all consoles), ps3, or wii u, or you can skip out the game entirely, whichever works for you. (I prefer Bayo 1 over Bayo 2 tbh)

I have both for wii u, I have no reason to rush to get the switch game. :P

I was just saying how disappointed I am. It reminds me of when final fantasy X hd remaster was released for vita. Same situation, I really want to know why do they think this is a good idea. I honestly wanna know who actually is okay with this situation? Probably people who like digital games.
