they wanted to handicap the wii u version otherwise the wii u version might get higher ratings and hurt the switch sales.
I hate inventories space in these type of games. Why the hell do I need to worry about inventory space in a video game? Other games can have 10,000 slots if they wanted to. I don't want to worry about the same shit in a game than I do in real life!

I just got rid of the 7 pieces of armor that I never use, the 2 rags you get at the start of the game, the Switch logo shirt, and I think the other 4 were some of the jewelry and the Hylian Trousers (since the full Hylian set doesn't have any special attributes they add). It does stink but I never wore that gear anyway, so not the biggest of deals, still it would be nice to have one extra page for the gear regardless.

Mmmm no actually I can still access that link.
The other one you posted is another thread made for the same problem.
And quite a hefty amount of comments in there also, so hopefully this gets addressed soon enough.
