I left my New 3ds for a few months without touching it, and i just found it yesterday. I check some information online, about the ban wave, new update ... yep, my 3ds was banned. So i tried to replace my seed with godmode9, but when i hold start and turn on, but it just boot in the menu. I hold select and it still boot in luma option. I think maybe because of my B9S too old can be the problem, so i use the guide update B9S, and the step hold start to boot into Luma3DS chainloader menu, it happend again. I test the start button in game and it still work. I check all the file in the sd card to make sure it like the guide, but it still can't boot in the tools i wanted. Anybody have a solution for this ? Every other fuctions seem to be ok, i still can play game without problems.

Do you have payloads in the payloads folder?

You have an old version of luma that does not have the chain loader. Your payloads have to be named b, x, y, or similar with a _ after and then the payload name. The payload will work if you are holding the perspective b, x, or y button while turning the system on.

Or update to version 7.0 of luma.

My luma is on 7.1.1 version i belive, it show new update 8.0 but i can't update it, it just run and show successful but when you go into luma again, it's still 7.1

Well, you don't need payloads for luma to work, but you need payloads to be able to load them :D
So please got o luma/payloads and make sure you have the payloads here. And also you should update to B9S 1.3 and luma 8.1.1

Yep luma/payloads first i put Godmode9 in but it won't run, so i try to update B9S by putting SafeB9SInstaller in, but it still won't run.

Well... in your payloads folder do you have the safeb9sinstaller.bin file? It will not work if you have the safeb9sinstaller.firm file.

Other things to check. Do you have a "payloads" folder inside of your "luma" folder on the root of your sd card.

EDIT: I have that backwards. You need the .firm file. I thought you were on A9LH for some reason.

i don't thing i put .bin file in because the guide don't said so, maybe that's the problem. Can you show me where to put it ?

I put SafeB9SInstaller.firm in /luma/payloads/ already.

Put boot.firm from Luma 7.1 on your SD card. If you use 8.0+ it will not work because you need updated B9S to launch it. It's probably using the boot.firm from your CTR-NAND.
i don't think you have boot.firm for 7.1.1 i can't find it

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But do you have the boot.firm file on there? Because if you dont have the boot.firm (which is luma) it is not booting from sd, but from CTRNAND

yeah i got .firm, .firm.bak, .3dsx ...

Look in https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Scroll down to find 7.1.

You could also try deleting boot.firm and taking off the .bak from the boot.firm.bak because that will be your old one, which is likely to be 7.1.
