Does not work for you? that strange ... to my friend and to me if that works to us ... we have luma 8.1.1 and boodstrap 1.3 it is very rare that it does not work to you ... we have the console updated to 11.6 ...
I am using N3ds with newest Luma and ntr 3.6. The codes work fine but there seems to be one code or sth that does not like online play. I will test it later and will let you know when i know more. I will edit this post then.
edit: repeatable crash for multiplayer. go for search let it connect and afterwards press B to return to offline mode. it will crash with just basic codes active.

That's a memory stack error. As in trying to load the codes to work in network mode then suddenly forcing out. It won't load the codes and will crash.I am using N3ds with newest Luma and ntr 3.6. Ir hoy have luma 8.1.1 you perhaps have boodstrap 1.2 or 1.3....find in yourtyoutube gameshogun tutoriales....is very efective
