Homebrew USA E-shop on EUR 2DS

Hello everyone

Today i've received my 2DS lcd and...the motherboard i've received from aliexpress is a USA version, my previous motherboard (who is obviously damaged) was EUR, so, i did the CTR Tranfer as said in the 3DS guide to change the region BUT, my E-shop is still in USA version (and i want to update my EUR games but the e-shop don't recognise them).

So, anyone has a solution to my problem ? even with à full eur update the eshop is still in USA Version :/ and i'm in france so...that a bit annoying for updating my games x)

some little precisions :
- My 2DS is on B9S 1.3 and Luma 8.1.1
- I'm not banned
- I did a full downgrade to 9.2.0-20€ and then updated to the last firmware with the update menu

Edit : I've tried a lot of things including ctr transferring my old CTRTransfer Backup nand from my damaged board, but still not working, got the 005-5958 error :/

Did you follow the guide here?

You said you downgraded to 9.2 so I'm going to assume you didn't or you didn't follow the guide correctly because you're supposed to use the 11.5 CTR Transfer not the 9.2.

Also, Luma makes it possible to play any region games so region changing isn't necessary for that aspect of it.

Make note that the guide also says:

Note that occasionally the eShop will inexplicably still not work for devices that it should work for. This is entirely to do with Nintendo’s servers, and I really do not have any control over it. Additionally, note that occasionally the eShop will inexplicably work for devices that it should not (such as some New 3DSs). The cause for this is currently unknown.

I suggest trying the guide and post back if that fixes your issues.

At first i followed the guide, and because it didn't worked i tried to full downgrade to 9.2 and then from here fully update to 11.6 (in case that something went wrong). For now i gived up, my 2DS is USA region and i play USA version of games (my flashcart are EUR region so...)

Oh, I see. Well that sucks. I didn't know flashcarts were region specific. Either way you should be able to play any region game if you have Luma installed, I would assume that would go for flashcarts as well so you should still be able to use and play all your games/CIAs/flashcarts no problem.

What are your Luma configuration settings? Maybe you have something "ticked" that shouldn't be?

Only Splash screen after payloads and show nand strings, the problem is that when i need to update a EUR game, the eShop say that the game cannot be found on eShop when i'm on USA NAND, when i'm on EUR NAND, i can't access the eShop but i can link my EUR NNID

update your games with Freeshop. you can enable eu eshop. but its very complex to do it.

I like complex things (i'm a electronic technician after all XD ), do you have a link to enable eu eshop (without another DS if possible) ? And i don't know how to use freeshop to update games x)

Go into freeShop, tap the installed games icon (shopping bag I think), tap the yellow triangle on the game you want to update. It will download and install the update.

i didnt found the eshop change tutorial but it is too complicated and takes very long (few reboots hex editing and so on)

Well, it seems simpler to use my 2DS with her original USA Region, thanks a lot for your help
