That would be great, I like buying digital games but I dont like the idea I dont have full control on them. If sony decide to remove license or whatever, I am screwed. With hacking, all my digital games will be safe and I will be able to install p.t. too. If we buy a game, we should have full control on it. digital or not.
Of course. But in 2017 this isn't something to be concerned about and by the time this will be important, your PS4 will probably be fully hacked anyway.
Thats why I am not worry about that
maybe I am wrong but it always take between 4-5 years for every console to get fully exploitable, its not so bad
I could also say I am a retro gamer, so when it come 2025, I will still like playing ps4 games. Thats why having a ps4 exploited would be great to play old games that havent be ported on recent platform. I always said: if sony or nintendo doesn't want me to copy games, its up to them to make games available. I am ready to pay, but it must be available. Take the wii as example, all the homebrews channels to play new, snes, genesis. If nintendo had offer something similar including all titles available, I wouldn't hack my wii to do the same thing. Instead, they create the nes classic. great! another device and it doesn't even have all the new titles.. too bad for them
Another example, ps3 on ps4 with psNow. Why do I have to pay again for ps3 titles to play on ps4 that I already own ?
That is all about availability and not paying twice for the same game.

removing pfs has existed for some time on 1.76. there's even a tutorial on it. this is what henkaku/vitamin/mai dump does on the vita. not surprising though. the lead engineer for both systems is the same, mark cerny.

I'm getting really tired of this SOON crap. Why not deliver? Is Sony more sue happy than Nintendo?
Development takes time. Especially if they're making it more end user friendly.

the problem is that you're limited with 1.76. the last of us bundle has 1.76 on it, so anything before that should be playable. anything after that not due to new keys. like I said, the pfs removal method has existed for some time on 1.76. I don't know if the games were playable, but pfs removes the protection from all files. there's a pfs folder with each game to protect each file. beyond that, u have the eboot and suprx - two other methods to encrypt games. it's like the vita due in part to it being the same lead designer. u don't really need to fully hack the system, just disable pfs to get your foot in the door.
I'd love to help via testing this method, however I'm missing some of the requirements.... I have to be cryptic now.....
