Okay, after getting CTGP-R Channel to install on the Wii U side (thanks @KhaderWelaye), I can confirm that VC homebrew cannot detect game discs. I tried to boot CTGP in vWii right before, and it loaded the patched game, but it didn't work as a VC channel. Any chance of this changing in the future?

This is amazing, thank you very much. I mainly want this for nintendont, which already works amazingly well, only little detail remaining is to support usb devices.

Have a problem and a question:

1. I can't get Paper Mario TTYD to work, I tried 3 times, and everytime after installing it with WUP Installer, it's shown as "???" and it's not launchable. Could it maybe be that the script has problems with ö, ü and ä, because in german it is "Paper Mario und die Legende vom Äonentor"?

2. On my old Wii, I have a save of Super Mario Sunshine on my original gc memory card. Is it possible to inject this save to Super Mario Sunshine injected to VC on Wii U? Tried it with GCMM, but I need a memorie card in the Wii U to inject it.

1 Don't use special caracter
2 Yes You dump it and place the save in SD://saves (save's GCvc are here)

4 new games i tried:

Shadow The Hedgehog
Digimon Rumble Arena 2
Crash Nitro Kart
Sonic Riders

Digimon Rumble Arena 2 has small issues with 16:9
everything else works perfect

Depending on the type of issue, you may be better off using a 16:9 widescreen code or ISO patch rather than using the built-in widescreen patch.

Attached is a main.dol I compiled that autoboots and disables the "Force Widescreen" option, but not the "WiiU Widescreen" option. That way you can use a gecko widescreen code or an ISO patch (ISO patches are more common for the Mario Party series)

Also here's a list of games I have working great in Widescreen and what methods were used to achieve them. It's worth mentioning that if a game supports widescreen natively, Force Widescreen will do nothing for those games:

Working great with Nintendont Force Widescreen (Or native Widescreen):
Chibi-Robo
Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex
F-Zero GX
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Kart Double Dash!!
Sonic Heroes
Soulcalibur II
Super Mario Strikers
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Working great with help of Gecko codes:
Animal Crossing:

16:9 Transitions (Use with Nintendont Force Widescreen)
04641F60 424A0000
04641F9C 424A0000

Games with great complete widescreen codes, use Autoboot_Stretch43 complied DOL:
Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door: Widescreen Stretched HUD Code from Dolphin Wiki
Shadow the Hedgehog: PAL Widescreen code from CosmoCortney, ported to USA by me
Sonic Adventure DX: Widescreen Code by Ralf@gc-forever

Working great with Widescreen hacks patched into ISO, use Autoboot_Stretch43 complied DOL:
Mario Party 4 v1.01: ISO Patch by GameMasterPLC
Mario Party 5: ISO Patch by GameMasterPLC
Mario Party 6: ISO Patch by GameMasterPLC
Mario Party 7: ISO Patch by GameMasterPLC

I had some trouble with the patches provided from GameMasterPLC at first, turns out his script wasn't verifying the ISO's MD5 hash correctly. Just make sure you are using a clean ISO.

Question, if I enable WII U Widescreen in Nintendont, does this means the games that support Widescreen will work with it right? the ones that doesn't support it will just play normally 4:3? There is nothing being forced here right? is my game gonna be all stretched? cause if that's the case, no thanks I don't want widescreen LOL

There are two different Widescreen patches.
The Wii U Widescreen means that if you will run Nintendont through vWii/Wii VC, and you have Wii U Widescreen enabled, the game will be stretch to fit 16:9 assuming your Wii U is conencted to an HDMI TV.

The other Widescreen (non Wii U one), is the one that enabled Widescreen for games that support it.

So in any cases the image will be stretched and the character will look "fat"? is there something that fixes the aspect ratio?

Disabling Wii U Widescreen should to it I believe.
The normal Widescreen patch does make it so that certain games which have a 16:9 hack should up in a 16:9 with non-stretch 3D models.
Super Mario Sunshine is a clear example of this, Twilight Princess and Wind Waker also have one.

The only games which don't look good with this patch are REmake, RE Zero, RE 2 & 3 due to the prerendered backgrounds (they are 4:3 no matter what).
RE4 and RE Code Veronica do look amazing with 16:9 tho.
