Hacking Help - Just purchased R4 SDHC Gold pro...

Hello,

I just purchased the R4 3ds Gold Pro 2017 from :

http://www.r4isdhc.com/r4-download/

My card currently keeps giving out an error saying firmware has expired? I put the kernal from the website in and formatted the SD card to Fat 32

What is going on?

These "time bomb" carts are not uncommon, but it shouldn't be occurring with a brand new cart. Make sure your system clock is set correctly.

Guys do you have a list of cards that have that “time bomb” feature? Does the R4i Gold RTS have that?

only carts that have r4isdhc.com printed on the label have timebombs

and dont mix up r4isdhc.com and r4i-sdhc.com because they are two different websites/developers

Well nice then. I believed mine had that too。those guys from r4isdhc.com seem to be bad people.

r4isdhc.com gets away with it because they are the cheapest carts on the market

I was able to purchase R4i Gold RTS before NTRBoot. And as 17$ for me was cheap. I don’t know the prices of this cards.

r4isdhc.com carts are 9 dollars on nds-card

but obviously they should just spend the 20 dollars and get the r4ids.cn r4i gold 3ds rts cart

Yes is much more better and even can use NTRBoot. With it.

I have custom firmware 128 GB so I will just use that. Is there any safe states or menu on the kernal you sent me ? Or can I update it at all?

its the most up to date version of ys menu and it does support rts

I think it's strange that the message was triggered unless your DS date set to >2020.

YSmenu doesn't support the RTS feature, you have to boot into the original kernel for that.
