That's not how it works, they can do both 4K@30hz and 1080p@60hz, it's just a bandwidth limitation that limits it to 30fps at 4K.Switch is 1080p@60 FPS max, which was chosen over the ability to do 4K@30 FPS. I'm glad they went with that over the other option: 4K@30 video, but 1080p@30 max for games. Obviously Switch's screen isn't 4K, and most people still don't have 4K TVs. Also, Switch is gaming-focused.
I don't "need" Netflix on Switch, that doesn't mean I'd mind having it available there. Streaming was always going to come later.
