Hacking [RELEASE] uxPKGinstaller - Install packages from ux0

Hi guys, i was bored so i made a mod of original pkg installer.
Simply install vpk and start&close - installation process finished :-)
To install a pkg, simply put it in ux0:/dlpackage and install via pkginstaller.
NO TESTKIT MOD NEEDED

PS. For testkit mod users- I released the testkit mod update, and this pkginstaller will be auto installed/swapped with original
EDIT1: NO U CANT BYPASS DRM WITH THAT TOOL
EDIT2: This app is standalone, u can have the original pkginstaller installed and this one ( app id: SKGPKG1N5 )

Why piracy? its the ORIGINAL installer simply moved host0 to ux0

Please read carefully,this is a mod to redirect host0

ackage to ux0:, nothing more/less.
I wont release any tool to bypass drm

Because it's a small piece of the puzzle that is almost complete now!

We can dump and use full cart backups.
We have signature patches for rif files.
Now we can install pkg files without cma, ok, if drm pkg files still don't install even with the rif existing, it's nearly there

Yes, before you needed to use it with cma.
It's much more convenient now.

1) i dun support piracy :-(
2) Extract pkg+ask the owner for work.bin after nonpdrm , copy to vita, and use nonpdrm plugin (thats approx what freeshop/psvfs will do)

If you delete the app, it's gone.
You will need to reinstall the original if you want the original back.

This app is standalone, u can have both installed.

Was this mod a simple thing by changing text in a hex editor etc? Or complicated?

useful. from what I remember, the host location isn't on a retail system anyway. usually, the way to install a pkg is with qcma over a network. I did so in my last tutorial on the vita if anyone is interested. you had to with small demos that required kiosk mode. lol

Wasnt difficult but it was hard / reversing took some time (making magic also)

(now this reminds me of all the original xbox1 key generators for its live service back then, basically you could get free service towards the end of the consoles production life .............. would be good to see a nonpdrm key generator, I'd wait 10 hours if I had to for an automatic process, etc. I'm sure thats not going to happen though)

(by the way just a though, supposedly you can download directly from sony using a .pkg downloader, instead of using qcma or context assisted manager to backup and transfer to another vita, with same account...........but you need to have an activated vita to use the content. can this method evolve into or circumvent activated vita to use transferred content?)

(Henkaku Enso wasn't worth a Firmware Update to eliminate for Sony, they just cut activation. Maybe this is what they were waiting for to update their firmware to 3.66) (So far so sad, only Sony has dropped to bans this generation for the ps4 since, vita is its extension device, like microsoft, once you have that kind of reputation it will stick with you for a while)

(so far microsoft is still at the lowest degree, I do remember how old laser drives on unmodded consoles were being banned, because the laser tolerance worn with age on the xbox360, and those people were out of warranty, that was really sick like pedophilia.......................forget that....................right now sony is eating a human corpse by egregiously modifying its terms of service, yes I'm referring to the vita consoles that were deactivated without connecting to any of psn services)

(do you now see how 360 and sony's new update of 3.66 firmware is taboo, so you now have microsoft's old title of phishing your terms of service to curtail unforseen usage of the devices) (we'll, I've been around in observing things so, this is equivalent to unlicensed street vendors operating tax free, because this activity is not a priority with public service, so its ghetto poor in a tuxedo)
