Seriously? Just look at the editor!:/

Don't tell me you don't see the entire column with the weights!

Btw, is max weight FF or it goes up to FE leaving FF out? I need a max weight egg for a subquest that needs a very heavy egg.

Read my question. I want to know what are the max values. Same thing you are asking. Nowhere in the tutorial does it show what values you need to make light - heavy eggs -_-

Great sword, lol:P Lagia Lightning has 124 attack, 8 thunder, 3% affinity and Thunder Slash as skill

Btw, I just experimented a bit to see what happens if you put 999 in a stat, 255 IVs and have the game do the stat recalculation... results are a bit WAY TOO OP!:rofl2: Examples"
Nargacuga with 999 HP, 991 Atk and 4181 Def
Silver Los with 999 HP, 4342 Atk and 2910 Def and most importantly and hilariously...
Gold Rathian with 623 HP, 1696 Atk and how much defense? 9477!:P
Yeah, use those on battle towers. It's mysterious. Some monsters' stats don't change much but others explode

No I haven't experimented with those values. I consider weight insignificant because you can alter everything in monster editing, except maybe for just that one quest throughout the whole game.

@BlueLeafeon

Ohh, thank you for letting me know. I'm just about to go to head into Gillgarden, so that is the reason why it's not working.

Thank You so much,
Avery
I highly doubt it would work even after that part. Rathian is not supposed to have fly. But let me know if it works.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Are you attempting this before you gain access to the volcano? You cannot use Fly until after a certain story event where the game forces a tutorial on you. Even if you have a monster that legitimately has fly. (I tried it with my Barioth.)

@secXsQuared
Is it possible for a save editor to alter the element of a monster? This can be done via gene-passing, it seems, but a monster born with 6 attack in whatever doesn't change type. You have to merge monsters in order to get it.
If you want to change to X element. The monster must have > 0 X element resistance. And the monster's X elemental attack must be > 4 and one of the highest. The element change I believe is calculated by the game instead of stored as values in save files. I might be wrong though. Monster class has many unknown offsets.

I doubt it would, too, but that didn't sound like a case of incompatibility since there was no freezing involved. If it does work, it'll be because Rathian uses Rathalos' animation data. Which may or may not be so.

It does seem as if it's handled by the game, but I wanted to ask, anyway. Thanks for the answer.

For me Fly on Rathian works, but it gets stuck in the ground when landing, haven't tested in many areas though. Game doesn't freeze, just can't move. Also, I've tried the vine climb thing (can't remember what it's called exactly) on a Nargacuga and it has worked on almost all the vines, but the animation of climbing is sometimes broken. Seems like if monsters with different skills have similar animations (eg: Rathian/Rathalos or Narga/Tigrex) the game won't crash, but there will be bugs.

I put rock break on nargacuga, thinking that maybe it ran off of the same animation set as Barioth. No animation plays, but the rock is destroyed, and the game continues as normal. I'm fine with that. lol

Yeah, most skills will work just fine with everything with just minor bugs in the animations. However, those skills are mainly the A button ones, B button ones get buggy or cause crashes/freezes (eg: Fly on Rathian as I mentioned, Jump on Narga or Stealth on anything other than Narga). Btw, I made a Lava Dive Ivory Lagi just for the lolz and it works fine, so Lava Dive and Swim seem to be interchangeable. You could basically fit all useful overworld skills in your party easily if you make sure to not mix A and Bs the wrong way...

Also, I know I've kept talking about Narga on most of my posts here, but despite it not being that strong even with 255 in IVs, Stealth is the best skill you are probably not using! You can literally get through the entire labyrinth post-game without fighting any monsters beside the bosses in each section, just use Stealth and run past everything!:P

Nargacuga is my second favorite monster, with Kirin being my fav. I haven't spent much time in the post-game, though, and I have the feeling I'll be avoiding that tower as much as possible, haha. (Unless there's poogies in there...)

Has anyone posted files to import the pre-order monsters? The ones from the "Rider Set" and "Hero Set?" (Was there a third one?)
See the tutorial...

Oh, my bad. Guess I missed it somehow when I was reading through it. :\

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok, so the tutorial has the Explorer Set (which is the one I was forgetting), but not the Hero or Rider Sets. I take it we haven't gotten those here yet?

I thought I saw them mentioned in the tutorial... I guess not. Check the last few pages. Somebody attached them to a post, somewhere. I KNOW I saw that. lol

Heeeeey, awesome! :D Thanks, guys! Glad to know I won't be locked out of these monsters. :P Even though they can be made in-game anyway.

Also, this gives me earlier access to Brachy, which makes me happy. :3

There aren't any poogies in the tower, but you can get through the tower in less than half a hour if you use the Ivory Lagi from the elite 5 pack but give it 255 IVs, then just spam spread thunder to one shot literally everything in the tower!:P You can't unlock Fatalis unless you beat the tower btw, so it's kinda necessary to do... Plus you get a couple trophies for the guild card and the item needed for a post-game quest by the guildmaster.

There is a way to know all combo recipes location?
Just do all subquests (which you might as well do for 100% completion) and you will get them all, but most recipes are rewards for low rank quests, so it's easy to get all the useful ones.

you can't find Bond gene combination recipe with quest, these can get from chest across the worldmap.

If you mean the Beads/Jewels you use for channeling to give monsties certain genes, then you DO get those with subquests, I got a ton of them on my list. :/

Btw, I realized something unfortunate, the game seems to be impossible to complete 100%... I only have two more things to do for 100% completion and one of them is literally impossible from the looks of it. I need the last poogie so I can unlock the poogie king and to do that goddamn subquest that asks for a very heavy egg. Thing is, max possible weight value is FF and that equals to a HEAVY egg, not a VERY heavy one, so it's impossible to finish that subquest! If someone can help me out with this in case it's actually possible, then any help is greatly appreciated! I've tried different values in increments of 5 from the 84 you get when you generate a dummy egg up to FF, but doing F0-FF one by one just to make sure.

Yeah sorry, some gene combinaton can find with subquest, but there are some that you can find into the chests, and you need these for reward. I find very hevy egg into the game without save editor, just look into rare high rank den.

Are you sure it's very heavy and not quite heavy? Because those two are very different, quite heavy is lighter than heavy and heavy is the heaviest possible in the editor, so it's not something that should be possible unless you can cause an underflow or something. I only do high rank dens and I haven't found one, only quite heavy and heavy, same for the eggs from the labyrinth... Btw, you may find what you are looking for in the labyrinth, but know that there's no subquest requiring you to have a recipe, but rather find the bead/jewel itself. Many of them can't be combined, only found.
