It should work, there is a while since i didn't used it, now i've cfw it's useless, just use your prefered hbl entrypoint (RPGhax i guess)
I think it will only work if you use Smea's ninjhax or similar with the payload, then load homebrew meny through that.
it won't work with hbmenu 2.0 and Rosalina I'm pretty sure.
