Monolith Soft recruiting staff for "ambitious project"

b1ZsjOJ.jpg

The developers behind the Xenosaga, Xenoblade, and other beloved RPGs have put up a recruitment website, asking for those who are well experienced in working on action games. They plan to create "an ambitious project, far different than previous Monolith Soft games". Most of the staff they're looking for appear to be for character design artists and programmers. The company is currently working on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the Nintendo Switch, but it seems that they're already preparing for a new project to work on. Of course, no specific console was mentioned, but as of late, they seem very Nintendo-oriented, to the point of being included to help with minor gameplay elements in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so a potential Switch release of this mystery game seems highly likely.

It can't be a new Baten Kaitos, so it must be a new IP.
In any case, seems impossible for me to apply, since I'm stuck in a very small country :(

wow, I love the stuff these guys make
We don't even have Xenoblade 2 and they are announcing a new game!
I think it is safe to assume that Xenoblade 2 is very near its final days in the dev studio. As soon as that Xenoblade 2 gold disk heads to the printers, they are going to need something new to work on.

Monolithsoft are software gods to me, as far as I am concerned. After seeing what they did with the wii and Xenoblade 1 and the wii u with Xenoblade X.

They did the same thing a couple of years ago with a 3DS project they had.

I'm wondering if it's the same game.

Funny how we all assume there was no way Xenoblade 2 was coming in 2017 when they first revealed it.

Well I hope is good. Maybe Xenogears remaster? :creep:

No, I'm asking for too much am I? New Super robot wars endless frontier? No, too much.

A project cross zone like game but nintendo all stars only? Need more clues. "Come on scooby-doo, let's go find some clues":vul1:

Does anyone find the list of games they worked on surprising? I didn't even know they was involved in most of those games. They help create Zelda games? O_O

NamcoXCapcom is the best tactics game I have ever played in my life and I have loved the games since. I haven't played the Project X Zones yet, but I bought them when they first came out to show support. Xenosaga was also awesome, I keep hoping they somehow release NamcoXCapcom in America, make it happen on the switch or PC!
