Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney coming to 3DS

image.png

For those wondering if the mobile remaster of the fourth entry into the Ace Attorney franchise would get a 3DS port, wonder no longer, as Capcom has officially announced it. Releasing sometime in November of this year, the game's release on Nintendo's 3DS means that all mainline Ace Attorney games can by played on that system.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney coming to Nintendo 3DS means that budding attorneys can see all the courtroom action from Apollo’s early days as a defense attorney in upgraded 3D graphics. Forensic investigation techniques play a vital part in analyzing the evidence to help solve some of the game’s mysteries. Utilizing the features of Nintendo 3DS, players can dust some crime scenes to search for fingerprints and also examine certain objects in a full 360 degrees to uncover hidden evidence! Will the fingerprints match any of the suspects on file and uncover new truths?

These investigation techniques combined with Apollo Justice’s magical bracelet that gives him the unique ability to detect lies during witness testimonies create a thrilling investigative journey.

Finally. Although not my favorite Ace Attorney just because the cases are sooo freaking long (I'm looking at you case 4!) Klavier is awesome though. Now we just need Ace Investigations 1 & 2, and Daigyakuten Saiban 1 & 2 to be localized.

Still have the DS version, so I don't see the need to rebuy it, but it's nice that all the main-series Ace Attorney games can now be played on 3DS!

Also, people should really play Apollo Justice before the two 3DS entries (Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice), because they act as a trilogy and reference each other a lot.

I really liked Apollo's trilogy (if we can call it that!).

Now
If only Apollo could finally meet his mom and realize who his step-siblings are!

I dunno what you mean by his trilogy, but I like the character. Hope he makes Marvel VS Capcom infinity roster. :P
Oh, by his trilogy I mean his character development through Apollo Justice, Dual Destinies, and Spirit of Justice. Each game touched on Apollo as a character very deeply, and the events of the three games were connected (i.e. the Troupe Gramarye events). Same with other characters too, like Trucy and Emma. Have you gotten a chance to play through those three games yet?

Is there gonna be a physical release?
I wouldn't count on it. His previous 3DS entries didn't get physical releases in the west, iirc.

Umm dual destinies was about more about Athena than Apollo. But if you consider it a viable backstory for him, that's good i guess.

That's true, but the events of the last three games did tie closely with each other, enough that I would consider it a trilogy, just like the first three games are considered a loose trilogy.

It doesn't help only one game has his name in the title while others have Phoneix wright, AND still he managed to be very important in his story. :ninja:

I always found the titles weird. Sometimes they were "Ace Attorney" and other times they were "Phoenix Wright" and that always threw me off.

If we was going by japanese standards which don't use character names in the title but just use standard numeric title then it make more sense, but dumb localization people just can't be normal for once and follow suit. Yes the name of the character gives off who is the protagonist but what is wrong with numeric titles? So people can distinguish the main series from spinoff or sub series. Ace Attorney 2, Justice for all. Ace Attorney 3, Trials and Tribulations. Ace Attorney 4, Apollo Justice.
