I played a little with the master editor and each time I try to complete the camera's compendium with it, it work BUT then the game is buggy (link misplaced under or over the ground, can't use Amiibo anymore, ect...) and always crash after any cutscene. The master editor is very dangerous lol
Anyway, which values did you edit? Make sure you are using the correct jpg files (if adding new pictures) and their filesizes.
You should complete that quest in-game (just give yourself a lot of rupees and buy the stock photos).
i used stock photos, extracted from game files. I've edited all the IsRegisteredPictureBook_ values btw.
i didn't know you could actually by them, it will save some problems for sure, just wanted to tell you in case it was usefull for debugging the master editor.
Set all Location_DungeonXXX to 1.
The master editor should edit fine. But maybe I overlooked something.
Just open your edited savegame and check it really changed the values you wanted.
Oh, and you don't even need to extract stock photos from game files ;-) If all PictureBookSize are set to 0xfffffff, the game loads them directly from data so you don't have to insert them in the savegame. That's how the game knows you bought the stock pictures in-game.
I just transferred my normal save to my hero mode save. It worked but I'm having some issues with it. For one the use amiibo option in hero mode tells me that I need to progress further into the story to unlock it but I've already completed every quest (because of the copied save data). Secondly the hero's path in hero mode does not carry over from the normal mode (is it normal and if so is their a fix for it?).

It seems for me the quest "a gift from the monks" glitched. It doesn't mark as complete despite having collected the three chests. I assume I can fix that using the master editor too right?
Edit: Really trying hard to find the fitting mark to check in the master editor but I can't seem to manage the find the one that marks the quest as complete.

Whenever I use the editor, it resets my save back to the intro. Is there a fix for this?
Thanks for this. Just used it to unlock the rest of the Korok Seeds and locations I needed. Kind of impressed with myself. Apparently I was only missing 20 locations just from wondering around.
Yes! It finally worked! I had so much trouble getting her in game. First I wasn't editing the right save for several attempts (I kept editing save 0 while I was on save 5), then I kept the injector open while miss-clicking on Homebrew launcher so I had to restart everything to get it set up properly...
Scroll down to the very bottom of the editor and change the untamed horse to Epona
somebody said copying the save over worked. but there are incompatibilities? try it.
I sttarted a new game in hard mode. This game is great!

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
