New release is up. Not much but I thought it may be somewhat welcomed due to the recent events.
- Displays local friend code seed (in little-endian format)
- Storage sizes are no longer displayed in MB by default. It now calculates your current storage and displays it in an appropriate unit (Example 2000 MB will be displayed as 2GB instead).

That's correct. It's because it retrieves the LocalFriendCodeSeed that's already in memory(the memory initialized by bootrom) which is not loaded from your NAND. Iirc both CFGS, and PS service functions do this.

Don't get me wrong, I know someone here recently did create a button tester homebrew, and I'm not here to steal their credit, but this has been in the works eons ago. This used to be part of the GUI menu, in a broken build that I haven't touched in quite a while. I only decided to release it as a separate app today and as a subordinate of 3DSident. (So yes same icons, banner, but different application).

That's the version of end-user license agreement (EULA) that you accepted. Are you using the GUI or the Original? cause it might be that the font is choosing to ignore that.
I wouldn't call it s h i t, but glad you were acceptable unlike some programmers who would disapprove if there were alternatives.

Just to make sure it isn't an issue with both version, can you check if the GUI version has the same issue?

Hm, its definitely an issue with the console font then. I'll have to fix it by using a different font.
You can use L+R to take a screenshot in both versions. It will save the screenshot in /screenshots/. (I had to refactor ANY_KEY, so re-download the original version if you're using that).

i didn't even know that niccce so it is a code for NEW 3DS XL that cool thanks man i learn stuff everyday!
On this day, the first commit to 3DSident was made exactly one year ago. At that point, it only displayed your firm, kernel and system versions and was originally called ctr_vercheck by wolfvak. Today 3DSident makes a year, with 300K + downloads, and displays various amounts of information about your Nintendo 3DS console. This is also probably my final release, unless there are bugs that need squashing or someone finds something new worth displaying. So I wanted to thank the community for making 3DSident what it is today, and to the developers like wolfvak, SciresM, Reisyukaku, MarcuzD/Sono and SegFault42 for their contributions.

Original Version:
- Removed unnecessary config info. (Original version aims to only display crucial information, and is therefore kept as minimal as possible).
- Refactored ANY_KEY, which fixed a bug with some earphones causing the original version to exit immediately.
- Now displays estimated battery voltage. (Thanks to Sono and Sykhro for helping me with the voltage calculations).
- Now displays number of NAND titles installed.
- Displays adapter state. (connected / disconnected) -> This is different from the charging status.
- FS_USER functions used for file handling (screenshot stuff).
- Displays region when showing system version. (Example 11.4.0-37'U')
- Displays WiFi slot info - SSID, password and MAC.
- Displays host ID (IP Address).
- New NNID Info using ATCU account data blocks.
- Displays both NNID user name and principal ID as before.
- Displays Mii name.
- Displays NNID persistent ID.
- Displays NNID transfareable ID base.
- Displays NNID country/timezone.
- New colours for Misc tab, NNID tab and WiFi slots.
- Displays home menu ID.
- Fixed a few minor glitches when refreshing values.
- Code clean up, refactors, removed dupes, fixed overflown buffers, more consistency + minor optimizations etc.
- All of the above, except for the colour and removing config stuff.
- More explicit storage info. Displays used/free/total storage info of the four FS_SystemMediaTypes with storage bars.
- Minor aesthetic changes, now the subject and values are two different colours.
- Gets inserted card type (NAND / CTR).
- Fast scroll using circle pad.
- You can now use the start button to exit instead of scrolling down to the exit tab.
- Config info now displays the following parental control information;
- Displays parental control pin.
- Displays parental control email address.
- Displays parental control secret answer. (Thanks Fenrir for reminding me I was one byte off!)

I re-uploaded the GUI version. It now directly uses Citro3D rather than SF2D. This also made quite a difference in the file size 1.53 MB -> 713 KB.
There aren't any major changes apart from some minor alignment fixes, and the fact that it now uses C3D and the system font. For those who use the GUI version, please update. You can update through titleDB (the one that says 1.38 MB).
