Made an account just to say I hope this project can make it. Even if a translated version gets posted that's incomplete, I know many of us would be really grateful for anything that's playable. Appreciate all the work that's gone into this.

Nice, thanks for the info.

They released a patch despite being against unfinished releases, like Weyu. Seems like he's still hopeful, and I wish both success.
okay, didn't know that piece of info, but in their blog where you download the patch for Sol trigger, it says they'll release the full patch in the near future.

He or Weyu should post something soon, Jam replied to a message I sent him yesterday, he's been having some IRL issues, he hasn't given up or ran away from the project. He still has to figure out some of the technical issues as stated before.

It is good to hear that he is still involved and has not given up.

Knowing the project isn't dead definitely has revived some desire to play the game again. (It's been about since the project started to be speculated as dead since I last played) Thanks Jam for not giving up on this. I've been following the project literally daily since 2014.

The project is alive? Fuck yeah! It would be depressing to see this one die too after that coldbird fiasco waaaay back then.

I'm still very excited for this game (as I've always been) and I'm still working on more characters in PSPo2 waiting for this to happen.

This game is very special in many ways y'know. It represents probably the best "traditional" ARPG before the shit hit the fan and everything went FPS, particle effects everywhere (to the point you can't se your character) or dumbed down ARPGs in general. On the same vein, it's the last swan song from SEGA we will ever have, not to mention the last PSO-like experience (because c'mon, NOVA and PSO 2 = style over substance).

I'm going to buy a new PSP/Vita just for this game and the patch comes out. Keep up the good work guys!

could someone link me to a video on how to use my ps vita to play this. also if done can i use the right joystick as the d pad?
Sadly, SEGA is super lame and never ported PSPo2 or Infinity onto the Vita (They even took them off the PSN store if memory serves right)
So the only way as of now to play Infinity on the Vita is to have a Vita on 3.60 and to have the custom firmware HENkaku or to have your Vita on 3.63 and to install ARK.
Outside of that you're pretty much boned and better off playing in an emulator or a regular PSP.
You can check the Vita section for more information on Vita homebrew if you're interested

Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm still rooting for you guys. This is still one of my most anticipated projects, and I can't wait until it's done! I'll be there to play it the moment it comes out!

Is there any news of the progress? I hate to sound impatient but is the project going well? any update?
Anything. Even if it's very small like "Ooh! less crashes!".

Did anyone toyed with 60 FPS patches? Today I found this: https://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4799&pid=127876#pid127876
I don't remember trying the older version on PSP2 specifically, but at least this works, and damn, can't remember the game felling this smooth. It however doesn't work on PSP2i, despite the similarities. I'll give it a spin before anything, but I hope that's just a adresss change between games.

Here it is. No need for the header on PPSSPP. Can be changed on the fly if you want to test.
Code:
_S ULUS-10529
_G Phantasy Star Portable 2
_C1 60fps

Dont use 60fps cwcheat on a game was designed to be run at 30fps
It will mess up lots of stuff like buffs duration, poison/venom, etc. It will even mess up enemies' attacks (glitching and stuff)
