Its getting kind of annoying for me and others to check up on this thread once in a while only to find either a couple of new users arguing or just asking for when it comes out... or begging.
Seriously, stop.
Some people are actually interested in how this going and they would like to check up in here once in a while to see if progress has been made.

I really wouldn't get your hopes up until either the title is changed a new thread is made with "Released" in the title. So long as this as [PoC] in the title, I would suggest keeping your hope low when entering the thread.

They have testers, so it's in the testing phases.

I'm hoping that regular R4 will work. I am now waiting for it to be release before buying that golden N2DSXL.

edit: whoaaa, i tried turning on my o2ds with sleep switched on and holding select + start + x and power button. it turned on, but since I don't have the working flashcart, it just turned on, nothing more.

Is it actually known yet how the new 2dsXL detects sleep mode? the speakers are in the bottom, so unless there is a sensor in the upper half? (I don't want to turn mine on for the first time until I can dump the nand)

yes smart man. dump the nand before even turning it on. I believe this will be the first time possible to do that without a hardmod

I'm atleast hoping it wasnt powered before. I ordered it "new" from japan on ebay, but it had no seal or sticker on the tab. Not sure if they come with a seal on the box

There's a magnet inside the screen panel.
