Will there ever be a way to play the Gamecube games on a external hard drive? What controller do you reccomend?

Sent from my SM-T280 using Tapatalk
thats EXACTLY what i have been doing for the last 2 days .... & yes you can play GC games from a external hard drive & it works amazingly well .... for some reason for me anyways the USA iso's are perfect ... but had issues with PAL EUR games .. so stick with USA ones .( maybe its because my wii is a usa one ).. as for pads theres lots of options im using a PS4 one ,.. but ps3,ps2 and a bunch of others work ...

There a lot of bugs fixed and features added since the channel was discontinued. It's probably almost 5 years old.
i did actually update usbGX about 2ish years ago .. Wiiflow was my 1st loader and i stuck with it.. simply because ied the themes it did look really cool , at some point i messed with NEEK .. and it crashed my HD .. so i re did everything from scratch nc my wii games which was a mini nightmare & started using usbGX i.. i still dont really know what neek is or does lol

yes im using wii not wii U the only Japanese game i have was Sonic Hero's .. was a mistake when i grabbed it ... and that worked .. also im not 100% on the PAL EUR thing .. im new to this app 2 day virgin ! but the sims worked Pal .. but the urbs sims 2 didnt also saying that splinter cell did to PAL .. but the USA ones looks much nicer anyways 60hrtz progressive scan .. you really notice the differance if u are using a component cable .. which i think is a must for wii 1 otherwise it looks kinda blurry ...& yes using the same HD as my wii games
i must add GreyWolf on here really helped me out BIG TIME on this i owe that dude some beers & a smoke !!!!

pal games work just fine if it didnt work for you is becuase you had some settings the pal games dont like like forced stuff or a bad iso, dont go around spreading fake stuff saying you have an ntsc wii and some pal games dont work please.

Mario party 4 when i select extra room when i select one of the two options inside extra room. The game freeze. Please help me

Actually, I was playing MP4 right now (PAL Version) and I've experienced this too. I typed on google about it and this message was the first thing to pop up!
Of course, I use a valid dump (Made with my own disc with CleanRip and is verified).

Whenever you choose any of the two modes inside "Extra Room", after selecting characters the game kinda "stops".
I say kinda because while the game looks like did crash (stops moving and such), the music plays normally, and you can even hit the R+Z+B+Down to exit Nintendont and go back to the Homebrew Channel like nothing, so it doesn't seem like a typical crash.

In options, I have everything off, Max Pads 4, Lang Eng. , Video Auto, Video Width Auto, Screen Position 0, Patch Pal50 off, TRI Arcade Mode Off, Wiimote CC Rumble and Skip IPL No. Using version 4.437, from April 17, 2017.

It does not happen anywhere else in the game, as far as I know.

Yes, I´m using vWII to play the GC games using my old external USB drive (used in my Wii).
The only change I´ve made in the external HDD was to uStealth it avoiding the Wii U formatting it.

It's a mode that cannot be normally accessed in the game so I'd give it a 50/50 chance of getting fixed.

...What?

It is not a secret. It is not a debug type of thing. It is accessible the very moment you start the game for the first time by doing nothing, even if you don't have a memory card, and it is mentioned by the game manual and explained in it's own section, so, I'm sorry, but unless I've missed something I think you're not quite right.

Is it? I was thinking it was one of the things that got left in and disabled and required a cheat to access. Never mind then. :)

No problem! If it was a debug/developer tools or menu type of thing, it would make sense to not expect it to be fixed, as there would be problems more important and other things with higher priority.

That said, you sounded so sure about it that I needed to look around and even grab my manual to confirm I wasn't living a lie, lol.

PN03 usually crashes on Startup for me.(whenever it crashes i have to Reboot the Wii and try to run it again and again until it manages to load the game without crashes)
Specs:
PN03: NTSC version.
NTSC Wii
Nintendont version: 4.446

I just tested it and it seems to work fine. Check the MD5 hash of your disc image and make sure it's good. There's a tool in my sig that can do it for you. Just drop the disc image on the program's window and if it says "Found" it's good.

I can confirm that Mario Party 4 NTSC-U also freezes after selecting players for the extra room.

people when reporting games make sure of two things first does your iso md5 match redump? if it doesnt its very likely the cause of the issues, second tell all your nintendont settings, and i mean all, some games dont like certain settings, just saying you have freezing issues or something doesnt help one bit when 99% of the issues are user errors of having bad dumps or forced settings...

[Developers/Game hacking] Ocarina Codes Request

Gentlemen,

I prefer to play GameCube games, using a Nintendont on Wii (or WiiU). It is fine piece of software, however it doesn't allow axis remapping on C-stick.

I wonder if someone here could help me out. I am in a need for Ocarina Cheat Engine Codes for two games:

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike [NTSC] - Invert C-Stick Y-axis code needed for a first person view
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life [NTSC] - Invert C-Stick X-axis code needed

I reported the issue to developers about half a year ago, but there was no progress since. Details are at https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/issues/360

Could someone with the right skills produce these codes, please? Playing these games without using proper controls halves the joy...

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
