It DOESNT kill haxchi... stop the misinformation. The Update indeed kills Homebrew , kills cooldboot Hachi (now the Wii u goes straight to the menu without signature patches ) the entrypoint in the browser is dead , do not update !

then coldboot hax worksWhy my Wii U appears with version 99.99.99 U, is semi-bricked?
Protection with the HAXCHI TO PREVENT it from updating if while using haxchiWhy my Wii U appears with version 99.99.99 U, is semi-bricked?
so if this is to be the case, does that mean coldboothax still works? wait thats confusing because I thought the system.xml updated? and if thats the case then coldboot shouldn't work.Protection with the HAXCHI TO PREVENT it from updating if while using haxchi
I never said anything about coldboothax, I said HAXCHI which is totally different lol, coldboothax might be dead, I have no clue.so if this is to be the case, does that mean coldboothax still works? wait thats confusing because I thought the system.xml updated? and if thats the case then coldboot shouldn't work.
so i can connect into internet safe(i unplug wii u when i dont use it)then coldboot hax works
cold boot puts it at that number
i have coldbootProtection with the HAXCHI TO PREVENT it from updating if while using haxchi
First, don't update, then delete coldboothax (the proper way) then update and don't install coldboothax anyomore, you will be fine if you follow these steps.so i can connect into internet safe(i unplug wii u when i dont use it)
i have coldboot

^^^^^^^^^Spoofing to 5.5.2 doesn't work when downloaded from JNUS, most people may be better off to just update the bloody thing, IF and only if, they already have CBHC/Haxchi installed.

THAT is very important. Only update if you have HAXCHI
Dude it was like the first message about this ( I wrote coldboot hachi not a normal hachi) and in a certain way it does kill cooldboot hachi because it can't run on the lastest firmware till changing some things , but the normal hachi doesn't follow a startup code so it is still workingIt DOESNT kill haxchi... stop the misinformation.
Nope you're using normal haxchi , the coldboot one tells you Everytime you turn on your Wii U ,that haxchi will autoboot , if you don't see this in your Wii U startup (instead of the WiiU logo ) then you have normal haxchiWhich I thankfully do, along with the HBL, and I use Haxchi/CFW (holding B to enable CFW when I load Haxchi, and then load something like RetroArch). I think it's the version of Haxchi with CBCH, not 100% sure. Either way, I'm safe. I wouldn't lose out on much.

Nope you're using normal haxchi , the coldboot one tells you Everytime you turn on your Wii I that haxchi will autobooting of you don't see this in your Wii y startup (instead of the WiiU logo ) then you have normal haxchi
Both of them have CFW , the only difference is that the normal one (the one you're using) needs to be manual triggered holding B and Coldboot does it automatically in your Wii u startup so no returning to he menu is needed but yeah normal haxchi is more safe than the coldboot oneWeird, still, it was the one that has CFW, so it's the Haxchi with CFW as I hold B down as it loads it up, then back to the menu and I can enjoy the faster read speeds Even with that, I should be safe. CBHC, not too keen on using.
That's what you get for playing with fire. It's pretty fucking insane to me that the console just updates while you're sleeping. Yeah, I should had used DNS or just disabled internet on it, but still.
Hey, I'm not complaining. I think it's good that Nintendo protects their shit. Just not a fan of the concept of completely automatic unaware updating of anything. That's what you get for playing with fire.
You mean, Nintendo makes their consoles more stable? Yeah.Hey, I'm not complaining. I think it's good that Nintendo protects their shit. Just not a fan of the concept of completely automatic unaware updating of anything.
