Can't wait for this to be finished. It seems like a amazing project, and helpful. But if someone could help me out. I've just recently gotten Luma3DS so how would I import this into my game? A link to a youtube video or a full step by step would be cool!

Considering it's just a plugin I don't think it will be much more difficult than just moving a few files around (so long as you have cfw enabled).

Hey, can one of you that has the demo files working in the jap version post a screenshot of the right file setup or something? I swear I've tried it like 15 different ways, checked over and over again things were spelled correctly, and made sure Luma and everything was up to date, but I still just can't get it working.

Hey, quick question, by the [...], what do you mean, I have my luma folder set up to what I would think would be correctly, but the menu text is still in Japanese. I've placed the demo files you'd specified in the respective folders as well. May I please get some clarification? Thank You!

You've renamed the files correctly, as in svn_font.sarc and svn_message.sarc respectively? Can you post your files/folders as well? That would help me help you.

Yeah, I think I've got them named right.

That's...actually super weird. Not actually sure what you're doing wrong, sorry.
I fixed it, thanks for trying to help!

I reinstalled the game and used the titleid "00040000001b1700" for the folder instead of the other one, for anyone having the same problem.

EDIT: don't do that, actually! I think I installed the trailer or something instead, but the patch did work. Kinda. It replaced the spotpass text but then it crashed, then I disabled it to try launching the game without it and it's just like a demo theater mode. oops.

e2: the first issue was because the game was on 1.1, I guess. It's fixed now, demo files running on 1.0 with no(probably) issues!


e3:BTDUBS here's a bad full(probably?) and broken(hope not but probably) translation of the game. UI/Layout should be crystal perfect because it's straight from the demo, same for the first world, but after that it's really terrible and amateurish lol

EDIT 4: If you talk to the worried explorer in the Traveler's Hub he crashes your game so don't do that lol



E5: It might be fixed lol idk tho here's an updated file (also you have to guess on the mii parade quiz 'cause names just show up as <NULL> half the time btw)

I put that translation in my game and it's funny, I know it's not the accurate one since I can tell it's just run through google translate, but it's still really entertaining.

actually, apparently they left the full English script in the demo for Miitopia

you should be able to do this quickly if you care

Nah, the demo only has the first World translated, so everything before the Desert.
i doubt we're allowed to actually link posts to 3ds***, but there's a tutorial for loading the japanese version into the demo w/ english text, which i assume meant that allows to to play the game in eng

Nope. Only the scripts for the first chapter is in there up to before entering the desert. Pretty much everything else is missing. I'm surprised that the game doesn't crash due to the files missing at all. You can verify that by extracting both sarc files and comparing what files are there and what files aren't there.

Would you happen to know how to put the file into the english demo? I have a modded cia that allows me to progress but after a point the dialogue is gone much like if I put the english text and message files in the japanese game. I want to put in the "bad" full translation in but I can't seem to figure out what files go where for the luma patcher
