The Nintendo Switch SDK has been leaked

in-switch-un-sdk-de-la-nintendo-switch-leake-1.jpg

Someone posted on /hbg/ a link to the Switch SDK. I don't know if it's the actual SDK or not because I have no use for it but I thought people would like to know or some shit.

EDIT: For the uninitiated, the leak has been confirmed real by SciresM and others. Go nuts.
EDIT 2: The SDK has appeared on many different warez sites.
EDIT 3: Stop asking me for links. I'm not gonna go dig out the link for you. Besides, someone on /hbg/ said the original link is down.

I'm checking 4chan but the /hbg/ thread isn't talking about a leaked SDK anywhere. Or maybe I don't know how to navigate 4chan and i'm doing it all wrong.

Anybody that has seen it thus far think anything in there might be useful to ROM hackers when that all kicks off? For hacking and homebrew the uses are limited these days (between dev kits using different keys and the generally limited nature of the modern ones, as well as little and less about the underlying system) but these kits can occasionally include tools or usage for what end up being common formats.

I thought you could just go here https://developer.nintendo.com/ , register, and get your own SDK...
At the moment only the Wii U and 3DS SDK are available for public applications, Nintendo requires a private application to obtain a Switch SDK as they want to ensure developers have a positive track record of previous work that fulfils their standards for Switch games.

Nope. A standard developer's account on Nintendo's developer portal only yields 3DS and WiiU SDKs. I was hopeful when my account was finally approved a while back that the Switch would be there relatively quickly. For now, the only official channel obtain the SDK is by buying a devkit and having approval through Nintendo.

In other news, I'll be playing around with the SDK tonight more and see what I can do with it. I'm no Smealum or Yellows8, since my job is mostly Enterprise dev work (and therefore entirely separate from the hacky homebrew world), but I'll still try and write something up.
