So I was using rednand (for brick protection reasons, as I was touching certain parts of the system that more than likely would brick it)
So I formated my emunand, and of course it tried to load vwii, which obviously didn't work. However. This is where things get strange. my custom menu or theme. It was removed! And replaced with the normal vwii system menu theme! How does that work?!
