Maybe, but I think for lower firmware versions only, since it's "outdated". Who knows.
The SDK is very outdated. Just read some more on the topic, it's the pre-switch-release SDK. Well, sorry to break it to you, but it will either help HomeBrew on all firmware versions, or none. 3.0.0 doesn't block anything except access to a NS Sysmodule that only hackers and devs use.Good news for those who wait on 2.0 (like me)

tl;dr: It was trash and barely worked if you could get it working at all. On top of that, only v4.5 was supported so if you updated it would probably brick.

Thankfully the N64 had a metric ton of other fantastic games. I do kind of hate the controller though, I didn't mind it at the time but over the years I have slowly learned to hate it.
