Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask for help, but I'm new to the community and just got into Wii U hacking.
So I've been trying to install some Wii U games, I've has success with a few, but games like "Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild" won't install on my Wii U (NAND) or USB no matter what I seem to do.
I am just going to post my step process for anyone to see what I'm doing wrong.

I've downloaded the install files (all off the .h3, .app, .tik, .cert, and .tmd files) for "Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild" from both uTikDownloadHelper and Wii U USB Helper and files from both downloaders won't work.
I've tried saving the files as:
  • :/install/The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [00050000101C9400] <-- files from Wii U USB Helper
  • :/Install/The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [00050000101C9400]
  • :/install/The Legend of Zelda_Breath of the Wild (USA) <-- files from uTikDownloadHelper
  • :/Install/The Legend of Zelda_Breath of the Wild (USA)
  • :/install/
  • :/Install/
  • :/install/Game 1
  • :/Install/Game 1
1. I live in Canada and believe I have a USA region Wii U. System setting says it's 5.5.1 U
2. Followed this guide: https://wiiu.guide/get-started and blocked the DNS servers correctly (168.235.092.108 and 081.004.127.020)
3. I'm using a 64 GB SanDisk microSD card and it is formatted it to FAT32 (32kb clusters) by using "AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition 6.3"
4. Open http://loadiine.ovh and open Homebrew Launcher 1.3
5. Once Homebrew is open I load Mocha CFW and follow these settings https://wiiu.guide/mocha-cfw
6. Open Homebrew Launcher
7. Download WUP installer 1.3, WUP installer GX2, from AppStore
7. No matter what program I use. They all give me an error for "Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild".

I've used the same process to install other games like "Mario Kart 8", "Mario Party 10", "Star Fox Zero", and "Pokken Tournament" and these games properly installed and are playable.

I am going to try and download the game again from uTikDowloadHelper ... maybe there was something wrong when I download it.

So I downloaded a .par2 file for the game (similar to the SFV file) and it seems every time I try to format my SD card and copy the files there's at least one file that becomes corrupt (missing blocks) in the process.

I've tried to format the SD card and copy the game probably 100 times now, and no success. Does anyone know any other method of copying the files to the SD card, rather than simply copy/pasting them via Windows ... ?

Thanks!

Your par2 file was checking ok, right? I mean, on the computer, before copying the files to the SD card. It wouldn't hurt to also check with the sfv. As for the file getting corrupt on the SD card, the logical thing to do is try another SD card, especially after 100 fails on the first SD card.

Why are you launching Mocha CFW prior to installing?
Since your console is most likely USA, if you downloaded this game using WiiU USB Helper, the title.tik is legit so it doesn't need CFW to install or play, as for uTikDownloadHelper, I don't use this so I can't advise if the title.tik file it downloads is legit or fake signed.

I suggest, shorten the game folder name to something like "SD CARD\install\botw", then in this folder make sure all the .app, .h3 and the 3 title files are here.
If you haven't already done so, DON'T launch Mocha CFW when you first boot into the Homebrew Launcher channel, instead either launch WUPINSTALLER Y MOD or WUP Installer GX2 and try installing again.
You advised that all the other games installed fine, that tells us there is nothing wrong with your setup so it could be something else, give the above a go and see how you go.

EDIT: As deishido below said, same with me, I have a 99% install success rate with WUPINSTALLER Y MOD where WUP Installer GX2 is a hit and miss for me.

It could be a fake/faulty SD card, test it with h2testw. Where did you buy the card?

From what I`ve read , its better to use a actually SD card rather then a microSD card.
But as others have said try another SD/microSD card.
I myself use microSD 16GB with SD adapter and it works fine.
Actual SDCard costs less but it can get easily damaged.

Yeah I use a micro SD 64GB with an adapter.

Yes, all my files gave me 100% completion. None of them should be corrupt.

My dad was the one who gave me the SD card to use. Looks like it's a piece of crap. I will try to get a new one and hopefully that solves the problem.

Use tik2sd and backup your game titles then check keys.txt and search for the game ID 00050000101C9400, just to make sure that ID is clean.

Went out and bought a new SD card. Everything works perfectly and all my games are installing!

Today's Lesson Learned: don't let my dad buy fake memory cards from Aliexpress :rofl2:
