@Apache Thunder is looking for an ak2i_flash.bin dump of an AK2i with a HWID of 44. The early models of the Acekard2i came with this HWID.

You can find a video down below:

He left this in the comments:

Right now only AceKard 2i. I'm using Decrypt9 on 3DS to flash a custom rom to it. the rom the DSi see's is in a section of the bootloader flash that it doesn't officially support writing to, so I modified Decrypt9 for this.

I may release this build of D9 if I can get a flash dump of the older hw revision of AceKard (the ones with hw id of 44). The offset for that second rom on the older carts may be different so I will not release anything that might brick the older carts.

Also you need hax on your DSi because you have to downgrade it to 1.4.0 and modify the DS Cart White list before you can boot carts with modified roms. (hence how I booted it with a rom that isn't a game spoof. ;) )

The firmware downgrade is because on 1.4, Nintendo forgot to check the RSA sigs of the DS Cart White list SRL. The process is not user friendly right now unfortunately so there's not yet any tools for doing this. I wouldn't recommend you attempt it without a hard-mod. I don't have a hard-mod, but it's mostly safe for me because I know what I'm doing. :P

And by release, he means a pull request to d0k3's github.

To find out what HWID you have, you could either...

#1. Go into AKAIO, Start -> Help -> AKAIO v#.## HW: 44 <-- If this is 81, rip.
#2. (3DS/2DS) Boot into Decrypt9WIP, NDS Flashcart Options, Dump AK2i (It should say HW: 44 or HW: 81 at the top.)

If you happen to have either an AK2i with a HWID of 44 or an ak2i_flash.bin of a HW: 44, please post a dump of the flash down below. You can make a dump of the flash by following #2 above. Also, please leave what icon the AK2i shows if it is a 44. A list of icons and etc can be found here.

You could be in trouble for repeatedly bumping a single thread with in a single day. :ninja:
In my time zone they were all on different days. Though I think common decency is to wait at least a couple of days before bumping there isn't really a written rule on exactly how much time has to pass before bumping is allowed (at least not on this forum)

Illinois is working to ban toxic food additives that have been banned for decades in other countries; additives that can be replaced and all those countries still have Skittles and Mountain Dew. Title of the piece: GUBMINT WANTS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CANDY

Gee, I wonder if the author is biased?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Arsenic doesn't give you cancer either.

California has already banned those additives BTW.

Mame should be two sets one for preservation of everything and one set for people who just want to play and enjoy the old old ganes
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Psionic Roshambo, Shouldn't preservation be legal tho?

I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though
