The other place to try is the discord linked on the first screen, she's sometimes around there
Thanks for the heads up. I've gotten around the crashes (sort of) by disabling exception vectors, but now all the homebrew apps just crash and restart the 3DS. I guess that means one less step because I don't have to push the power button, but it definitely didn't help any.

When I use updater it says I'm outdated because I have "8.0" but the new update just says "v8.0". When I update nothing has changed and when I try updating again it's the same.

Is this just a bug?
The updater is known to be buggy, there's no update right now.

Anyone know how to fix this?
bin/sh: git: command not found
/bin/sh: git: command not found
/bin/sh: git: command not found
/bin/sh: git: command not found
make: git: Command not found
/bin/sh: git: command not found
.. install git and make sure it's in your path? if you can't solve such a trivial error you shouldn't be trying to build luma to start off with..

question,my friend finally was able to restore the old nand, but it was restored to 11.2
she took that NAND file year ago when we used the OTP file method,i thought you can't make NAND file above 9.2

now after she restored the nand she can see Sys 11.2
weird

she used godmod to restore the nand
maybe she restored the NAND but kept the A9LH/B9S?

I think godmode is designed to keep a9lh/b9s by default, so probably yes.

Decided to upload the latest commit I built. It's been modified to use Download Play as the default HBL app instead of hblauncher loader.
Only use if you know what you are doing, and always make a backup of your previous boot.firm just in case. I gave it a short test on my n3ds, not fully tested on any device, THERE MAY BE BUGS.
I mostly made it to prevent use of any homebrew cia (with the recent banwaves going on I'm doing my best to not be banned).

I really like having the Homebrew Menu default to Download Games, saves me some effort on each boot, thanks for sharing. It would be sweet if the Luma devs made an official version that did that.
EDIT: nevermind, I'm slow, looks like the official nightlies have already made it obselete.

I recently updated Luma3ds to v8.0 on my O2Ds, but now all I get, ever since the update, when I push the power button, is the blue LED next to the power button flash for a moment and then fade away.
Did I just brick?

I have a Japanese New3DS and a while back I had installed Luma3DS and arm9loaderhax which worked fine. I recently went to update Luma3DS through the updater tool on the 3DS but it said I need to switch over to boot9strap in order to use Luma3DS 8.0. I went through the entire guide and got it all setup so now I'm on Luma 8.0 and boot9strap. But now when I try to play my Majora's Mask (US) cartridge the game will not boot up, I see a little loading icon in the bottom right for a quick second then it crashes with this screen:

Also aside from that I'm having a hard time installing CIA files as well. FBI has worked for some CIA files like all the Fire Emblem games and Shovel Knight but things like Ever Oasis and Maple Story (English Translation patched) just won't install. My 3ds is a Japanese New3DSXL running firmware 9.2.0-20J

Is the game patching option in the config menu checked?

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer".
