Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask:
I just bought a "new 3ds xl" and the system version is: 11.0.0-33u
but whenever I open any internet related app it asks me to update.
is it okay if I follow the ( home brew luncher (soundhax) ) guide even though the system is asking me to update?

Yes, you are okay to go through with the guide and using soundhax with the 3ds update nagging. You will want to wait to update until you get to a point in the guide where it will be safe to update without any worries.

I understand that there is no way I could download free 3ds or ds games on my device. is that correct?

After following 3ds.guide, you can use freeshop to download 3ds games or you can download them as cia and install with FBI. For ds games you need a ds flashcard, which cost around 10-20$

Hey everyone,
If this isn't the right place to post, just let me know :)

My current 3DS has been updated to 11.4, and has no CFW running on it
So I went and bought another Old 3DS today in hopes to install CFW (using boot9strap browser method) on that and use it as a Source to install CFW on the 3DS with 11.4 installed
The problem is that the 3DS I got today has no browser on it, the firmware version on it is 4.3.0-10E
Just looking for any advice on what's the best thing I can do from here to be able to install CFW on either 3DS
Any help greatly appreciated

-10E should mean there is a browser. What makes you think you don't have one? Do you get an error message or anything?

That means it's actually a 2gb card. I'd just throw it away, but certainly wouldn't use it for anything important.

Hello, once again. I found a New 3DS XL that I want to buy. The seller says it's on the latest firmware version, which from what I can tell is 11.4. I've read up on 3ds.guide and I see if I have a CFW 3DS (I do) and a legit copy of LoZ: Four Swords DSiware, I can get it on CFW. I have a copy of Four Swords, but how do I know it's DSiware or not? Thanks.

Hi everyone.
Is there a way to be able to play games on other regions?
I tried using the cucic ninja + homebrew launcher starter kit. Once I accessed the homebrew launcher I can't see the region free launcher, which makes me think I might have missed something. I have Sky3ds+, version 11.4.0-37E. I installed the payload of my version + the starter kit into my 3DS card and succesfully have access to the launcher. Whoever replies will receive praises for all eternity.
