Sooo here is a video comparing b9s and a9lh in case you didn't update and want to update it because of "faster" boot.

This doesn't make sense. My boot time has always been 10 sec exact when using A9lh and now using b9s. I dont even know how he even gets 7/8 sec boot.

Boot time is highly dependant of your SD size (the smaller the better) and cluster size (the larger the better) from my testings.
That might explain it.

Updated to b9s from a9lh my o3ds, now just show prefetch abort (svcBreak) exception, can anyone help me on that? Didn't got that error when I updgraded my N3ds to b9s, luma boot fine but crash right before home menu

Edit: I got able to boot it with the troubleshooting guide on luma3ds wiki, got afraid for a sec since I tried the guide on plaitect and it was still giving error

Edit 2: 3ds literally just got banned after it fixed

Ever since updating to b9s, it seems as though most homebrew CIA's (TWLoader, freeShop, HBL) all fail with a stack exception. I haven't been able to track it down.

All homebrew CIA files install fine but they all crash with this exact report. No matter the homebrew, they all show this exact same exception with the name changing on each title loaded. Some homebrew has a non-CIA version, so I placed the proper files on my SD card in the proper place. I've been able to run the Homebrew Launcher through the Rosalina menu so I attempted to load them through the HBL this way and they crash the exact same way. So, here is a picture of TWLoader failing just after booting. I've also included the associated dump file of TWLoader failing and attached it to this post.

Here's what I've attempted to try and fix this:

- Updated Luma3DS manually to the latest stable version
- Updated Luma3DS manually to the latest nightly
- Followed the troubleshooting page at 3ds.guide, which didn't help much
- Uninstalled homebrew CIA's and removed tickets with FBI
- Reinstalled homebrew CIA's

I'll be honest: I don't know what I am doing here to fix this. The n3DS worked flawlessly last week on A9LH and Luma3DS 7. I haven't ever seen this and searching the forums didn't help much either. The one homebrew CIA that actually does work is FBI. All other installed CIA's (installed from freeShop while on A9LH) work fine, as well as all preinstalled Nintendo apps. To sum it up, almost all homebrew apps are crashing, whether or not they were installed pre-b9s, whether or not they are homebrew or CIA, and whether or not they've been uninstalled (with tickets).

Some of the required info:

- n3DS
- 11.4
- Luma3DS 8.0, I've since downgraded to latest stable
- I have not enabled L2/overclock (ever)
- I have not played with Rosalina other than injecting HBL into ARG
- Obligatory screenshot of SD card: http://imgur.com/DX3dvoC

Thanks!

Guess I'll try Reddit or GitHub as Aurora isn't here any longer. Wish I had read that before posting this here. :(

I wonder if the exception errors will ever be fixed. I mean, I get them everywhere. Launching Kid Icarus Uprising or even when selecting "Software" in Data Management. I know I sound like I am whining, but I am just concerned. I have faith in the devs' ability.

I just asked her again, she was playing Luigi's mansion and put the 3ds to sleep, then the battery died, she charged again AMD it's only gives black screen.

She does have backup NAND.
Tell her to check the card first to see if it is corrupted and then replace the boot.firm. if that doesn't work then they should flash the nand backup.

When I use updater it says I'm outdated because I have "8.0" but the new update just says "v8.0". When I update nothing has changed and when I try updating again it's the same.

Is this just a bug?
