Homebrew pokeCalcNTR for Gen 6 - The RNG Tool Suite for the 3ds

So I've been using the Gen 7 and 6 pokeCalc for a while now and I'd like to start off by saying bravo! I love this app.

I'd just like to ask if there is any chance that a Gen 4 or 5 version of pokeCalc or an RNGtool might be possible? I've been playing some of the older Pokemon games now that I have my old DS flashcard working and I was hoping to RNG some of the other legends that I can't get in XY/ORAS/SM. (Namely the birds.)

Then again, I doubt NTR works with DS flashcards anyway, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Like you said ntr wont work with ds mode. But you can try emulator rng on older gens and tbh it is really fun than on console.

Hm? Between the Gen 6 games, you can get every single legendary, and GF distributions made it so you can get the mythical legends too. I would like to point to @zaksabeast's PRNG tool for DP RNG.

Great tool indeed. but just saw that it requires nitrohax which doesn't work on flashcarts(unless I am not updated).

Ok, I'll give @zaksabeast 's tool a try. Also, the main point of RNGing these legends in my case is for shinies, and it looks like my best chance for shiny birds would be in HG/SS. Practically everything else seems to be available in ORAS. Ooo... Kyogre and Groudon too. LOL

Is the rng research for gen 6 for wild pokemon(in routes) completed? Or its just that it is not implemented in 3dsrng tool yet? The readme says its 40% for now.

If you go by the commits it's recently added RNGing for routes, at least on ORAS.

Hey everyone! Sorry for having been gone for a while.

pokeCalcNTR Gen 6 has been updated to version v0.2.0!

Lots of new features including the ability to get the init seed by itself, among other fun features!

So there's been proof of an RNG'ed 6IV Ditto. HA! I give you 6IV DUNSPARCE!

It was more for testing, I was too close to the frame to manipulate it for a Ditto encounter. I've been struggling with this, but this is a step in the right direction, getting a hang of this.

you can get alot of legendaries in oras but a few are shiny locked and you can only get them shiny in gen 4 or 3

Regarding the FS RNG, it takes a few tries but you'll get the hang of it. But it is a pain in the *** to get a flawless shiny HA low frame, you need to reset a lot for the seed.

yeah but if you want to get a seed that has a frame that won't take forever to get to and has good ivs you still need to mess with time unlike gen 6 and gen 7 the seed does not advance on its own so you need to use chatots which can take a long time if a shiny frames not nearby and it may not have ivs or nature you want

You mean getting the initial seed without 3dsrrngtool? Then Yes, same like it is in Gen 7.
