OP
Title speaks for itself, but I'm rather annoyed that everytime I wish to load nintendont (or some other application that uses or can use the gamecube adapter) that I have to get my wiimote and load the app, disonnect the wimote, and then if I'm done with game in nintendon't I then have to find the the wiimote again to load up the other game I wish. It would just be more convenient in this situation to be able to use the gamecube adapter on the homebrew channel itself.

Jesus kids today are so fucking lazy just use the wiimote how much effort does it take to use it then switch it off when it's not needed?? Do you honestly think a dev is going to waste their valuable time to implement this for you when they can be doing much better things with their time. If a dev thought this was a valuable feature to add they would have already done this. They have created homebrew that runs on the Wii which comes with a wiimote that pretty much everyone has. Do you honestly think they are going to create this just because you are to lazy to use the wiimote??

God if using the wiimote annoys you than thank fuck that's all you have to worry about there are far more serious issues going on in life than this try getting some perspective in your life and stop being so lazy lol.

I agree that if this is just for laziness, that's stupid. If laziness becomes a valid reason, the dev could dismiss the request for laziness too :P
However, GC pad support would not benefit lazy people only. For example, I don't have any wiimote so you can't tell me to use a wiimote to boot anything in the HBC. And you can't tell me to buy one either because if I could, I would (but I can't, and there is no way you're discussing it, the decision isn't mine).

Well I agree that you do have a valid reason for wanting this unlike the op but the point is 99% of people that use wii homebrew have a wiimote so it's not really worth the devs time to add gamecube controller support.

Agreed, that's why you didn't see me make a request thread :P
