Hi, i just got a dual shock 4 pro and i am using my laptop, wired to my tv through HDMI, Bluetooth internal adapter, i am sitting right about 3 meters(max) away, and i get heavy latency problems when playing games like GTA V, i would love to know if anyone has any idea for a nice and powerful Bluetooth adapter, price doesn't matter.

On laptops, my experience has always been best simply using a cable.
uuuuuh what ? dude it's not about being on laptop or desktop, it's about the adapter, the laptop stock one is always short distanced and shitty in general, i am sure a usb adapter will fix this problem, but which one is good and long distanced.

That's what I mean, I've yet to find a BT dongle that I find works well. I've tried a dozen over the years from the old BT 2.0 standard to BT 4.1 and none of them seem to have a stable connection to anything more complicated than a BT speaker.

The only Bluetooth adaptor that works well for me is the one that came included with my Asus Z97 Deluxe motherboard.

you use that dongle with a bluethoot stick attached? i can only think that increases latency even further...
There is hardly any latency, I use it just fine with no issues at all. I been using it for years. https://www.consoletuner.com/kbase/device_options.htm?mw=MjQw&st=MA==&sct=MA==&ms=AQAAEA==

i was just about to reply to you again lol 60$ is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much for an overkill BT dongle man :/ i take back my price doesn't matter
Worth it to me. It was a suggestion, didn't say it was only solution. I'm sure there is others out there. But to be able to use any compatible controller on any compatible device, yeah $60, you maybe could find it on discount somewhere. But now I'm waiting for the sequel titan two which is way better. :)

The thing is i live in north africa and i will have to chip it to me which will cost like double at least. But if you say there is hardly any latency, then it maybe the only solution

Well if you can find it for a discount, is even better. The dongle has enough to reduce latency, I use it on many consoles and no issue. Android tv, psvita tv, ps3, ps4, xbox one, PC. Using any controller i have available, no problem at all. Is basically a controller mod with the greatest of ease. Don't forget that you also should have a bluetooth usb for wireless mode.

You asked for a link to the device, did you actually read the information posted?
the website is not clear about it.. they don't say "bluetooth functions require an extra acessory" or something like it...
i just assumed you still needed a dongle the way you wrote one of the posts before

:'( you guys are mean....just kidding, but seriously, is this hopeless, how do these idiots who play on a couch, they must be at least 2 to 3 meters away, how do they get seamless gameplay without latency D:

I assume you have a PS4 if you're using a DS4, does it work fine there?

If not, keep in mind that it might not just be your BT adapter on your laptop, it's possible there's heavy interference happening somewhere wherever you're gaming. Take your laptop elsewhere, like a bathroom or something more isolated, and see if you still have the same problem.

If so, then you could try getting any cheapo adapter and see if it helps. These days pretty much all modern bluetooth adapters are identical, it doesn't matter which you get.
