By the way, do I need to be updating the boot.firm stored in CTRNAND using GodMode9 at the same time? I've been doing that also because you put it there for the initial setup also.
You don't need to, no. That's only a backup for when the SD card isn't present and doesn't affect anything while the SD card is plugged in.By the way, do I need to be updating the boot.firm stored in CTRNAND using GodMode9 at the same time? I mean if anything, you can just have legacy 7.1 as main and 8.0+ as alt with chainload. Is what i do. Helps me to check and test new builds while still sticking to 7.1 as default. Of course if you're using b9s 1.2I'll just say ever since I went back to 7.1 I have had 0 data abort errors,I for one will not be touching 8.0 again until the release of 8.1 perhaps
And this is where chainloader comes in handy. Thanks.Decided to upload the latest commit I built. It's been modified to use Download Play as the default HBL app instead of hblauncher loader.
Only use if you know what you are doing, and always make a backup of your previous boot.firm just in case. I gave it a short test on my n3ds, not fully tested on any device, THERE MAY BE BUGS.
I mostly made it to prevent use of any homebrew cia (with the recent banwaves going on I'm doing my best to not be banned).

Usually added features, stability or a major bug fix. I posted the latest commit compiled a post or two up (with slight modification)So, is Aurora waiting for something in particular before a new release is made or 100 commits?
Sure, it's just unlike her to gain so many commits without a new version. She's done it before between major versions, but I didn't think it usually gets this backed up between minor versions. Yes, but I'm not sure what, she was pretty vague about it.So, is Aurora waiting for something in particular before a new release is made or 100 commits?
Sure. I'm talking about the changes that have already been committed to the main branch. That's why I was thinking she was waiting for something, which astronautlevel is pretty much confirming.well she worked so hard for this cw and she has a live, maybe we have to understand this type of things...
So, I've got a question about the Game Patcher option in Luma to do a region change.
I've tried it out in a couple pokemon games and have noticed a change in the Region Hex code for the pokemon caught after activating the patch, but my question is regarding Language. To put it simply, when I enter JPN JP as the region and language in the locale.txt file, as I said before, I have noticed a change in the Region Hex code for the pokemon caught, but the language remains the same and even after disabling the patch I don't see any change in the language.
Have I done something wrong, or is this maybe a bug in the newest version of Luma?
You can't change game language later, the game specifically told you about this when you start a new game, nothing to do with luma. So, I've got a question about the Game Patcher option in Luma to do a region change.

You should see thisI was trying to get luma3ds compiled on windows (for latest commits and to change the default hbl title to download play). After hours of errors and pulling hair, decided Linux was probably going to be better. I set up Kali live usb with persistence. Within an hour I had Luma3ds compiling. Now I can just use download play for homebrew (seemshow i never use it anyway), and if I ever do I cab just change it to another app
