Wait wat. This is my first disgea game too. So if you get a bad ending you have to start over?? HelpThat was one of the endings, the Chapter 4 bad ending... A game over, basically.
Don't overwrite your save and redo the battle, AFAIK the reason for this bad ending is because:Wait wat. This is my first disgea game too. So if you get a bad ending you have to start over?? Help
There is no reason to use only one save slot anyway, I am always alternating between three different ones at least no to overwrite the last ones just in case I want to go back, isn't that the normal usage of save slots?Read the textboxes to know what you're supposed to accomplish. thanks mate, I read them all. Also I got some overpowered characters and 1million of money right from the start, I feel kinda overpowered or is it a illusion?Don't overwrite your save and redo the battle, AFAIK the reason for this bad ending is because:

I recommend you get Disgaea 5.did not get my physical copy sadly, but got money for that instead.
i can buy the game either digital instantly for 60$ or physical (which can take 3-4 weeks until i get it + it will cost around 15$ more).
i just dislike the idea of having more digital, afraid of losing the data somehow.
what you guys suggest i do ?
i currently only have mk8 deluxe/fast rmx.
need disgaea5 but stuck on which to get ,physical or digital hmm
I recommend you get Disgaea 5.
And I would prefer a physical copy if it was for myself.
On the positive side, if it was digital you can play it whenever you want, no need to exchange game cards... Still, 3-4 weeks is a lot of time, if you have patience go for the physical version, but only you know if that is the case.
Shouldn't you also pay customs? I mean import taxes.i have the patience, i have shit load of games to play until then.
but it will also cost abit more, worth it you think ?
i'll have to pay 15$ extra , so instead of 60, i will need 75$

It depends actually on how much do you prefer a physical release.
The physical release will just get you a plastic box with a reversible cover and a game card.
Do you value that?
You have the advantage that you can resell it if you want, or use it in another console, or so, but do you value that?
Regarding losing save data, the save data is not stored in the game card, so you would lose it anyway if say, your console exploded...
No. Atleast for me.Hey, played through the demo and like it ALOT, do the save file from the demo carry over to say the cart fullversion?, i'm trying to figure out if its any use to grinding the demo 'til i get the full game.
Yes.Maybe a stupid question to ask here but I never played a Disgaea game before is the story different from the previous games?
Yes.
Exactly, you might get some occasional reference or character from other game in the form of additional content, but story in this game is standalone. Thanks so it like persona where the games are not related.
