like i said games that have issues need a per game fix wich barely anyone does, there is a guy at gc forever that does individual widescreen patches for games wich work perfectly you need to find a guy like that since sometimes th "general" widescreen hack touches some adresses some games do wierd crap with and then crash.

Glad I'm not the only one having issues with it freezing.

Im having problems with pkm colosseum / xd!
Im using usb loader gx lastest version + nintendont lastest version(updated yesterday)

When i turn on the cheats, any of them, the game dont start, gives me a black screen and forces me to hard reset my wii

Without cheats they play just fine as expected

Its the only games thats occours, i've tested more than 30

some cheats will not work on nintendont becuase of some switched memory adresses wich im guessing the x/colosseum cheats are targeting, you would have to do recearch see the adresses its patching and them change them to nintendont.

Sorry but i dont know how do that
Plus, i found in the compatibility list that PAL version of pkm xd (im using ntsc) crashes too with cheats turned on, maybe its a already know issue

colosseum and XD to run have some wierd patches due to their memory card protection thing or else the games wouldnt even run so yeah some games just dont work with cheats on nintendont.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but the reset/shutdown combo commands do not work on gamecube controller.
It has been changed or is something wrong on my side?

depends wiiu gc adapter or thorugh gc ports on normal wii? if on normal wii you activate native you loose the shutdown combo btw.

Hey, I've been having issues with using the wii u pro controller on nintendont.

I am able to connect the controller in the nintendont menu and navigate just fine, but when I launch a game, the 4 blue lights at the bottom of the controller light up, and... None of my inputs work. Nothing happens when I press any button, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the controller, but that didn't work. I even tried updating nintendont since I had a severely outdated version, but the same thing still happens. I'm also 98% certain this is an official controller, and it works fine in the actual Wii U mode.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

sounds like a fake controller. I've used my pro controller on nintendont just fine. I did buy a fake controller by accident once, and the dead giveaway was the dpad and the box. the box was noticeably smaller than an official pro controller box, and the dpad didn't feel right at all. I have a friend who said his fake pro controller would make loud clicking sounds when pressing the buttons. if u bought the controller on ebay, there's a strong possibility it's a fake. the fake I bought was from there, and it claimed it was official. :-/

Make sure you don't have native controls turned on. If you have a nincfg.bin file on your drive delete it just in case.

I looked in the options, native controls was turned on but it was grayed out, so I deleted nincfg.bin on both my sd card and my usb flash drive(which is where I'm loading my games from) and it worked! Thank you!

This is why Native Controls should automatically be turned off when Nintendont is launched on a Wii U so stuff like this won't happen.

HIDTest is not working. Even if I download it, the homebrew channel refuses to launch it.

Can someone release a working version of HIDTest? I need to make a configuration file for the HORI FPS Plus (for PS3 and PS4).
