It's really easy to win over grab spammers btw, all grabs can be deflected by a single punch, if grabbing is all thet use literally just just punch regularly at them and itll deflect their grabs and youll also score some easy damage to them

The only thing I didn't like was the 3 player matches, it turns into a 2 v 1 very easily because most people don't know you can press X to change targets so they focus on a single player the whole match

I have played both testpunches and i realy love this game. I didn't even thought that it would make so much fun. But i can't figure out how i can turn left/right (using motion control)?

Not a game that i'll be purchasing. Personally find it very shallow and boring. Jumping felt like it barely worked, dodging barely worked, pretty much all the controls I found barely worked. Kind of a pain to just wanna fight 1v1 then end up in either a 2v2 or 1v1v1 match.

Colorful, nice soundtrack, but pisspoor gameplay.

Same here. I couldn't figure out how to turn left or right, and I tried with the right analogue stick which didn't do much.

Session 2 was awesome. Played it until Nintendo turned off the servers. :)

had great fun. but I'm pissed I got dropped out twice and lost all my points accumulated.
It doesn't matter too much that you lost the points, they're only there for each session. I got up to 78 which was cool to see but no big deal.

Played for about 30 minutes, different character and arms every match. Feels like a very shallow rock paper scissors style fighting game, with some small variables like characters and different arms thrown in. Also motion controls seemed inaccurate, and button controls felt clunky. Had a little fun but I don't think I'll be picking it up. Might play again later to see if it can redeem itself to me.
That's where you are wrong sir. The motion controls are very accurate, physical controls even more so. Instant day one buy for me.

You tilt the controllers...
Camera wise, you press up on the dpad. It changes your focus.

Yeah, that is right, but the thing is how you grab them.
You must grab them like a pair of old school joysticks/flight control columns.
And with the SL/SR buttons siding completely forward, so the joycon sits parallel to the palm of your hand. Otherwise it doesn't work right.

Then you tilt these "virtual control columns" both forward, and you move forward, both backward and you move backwards, both to the right/left etc, both inwards and you block. I noticed that for some reason the way I play I almost always was tilting both of them forward unintentionally, and it was a little of a PITA.

The third session was a bit dull, i.e, I got bored 'cause it's just the same two online modes with the same playable characters. I've played it enough of the demo. :)

Controlling the character feels like controlling this:
iu

except that it doesn't have a base and it's with both hands.... The jump, Dash and Punching feels Smooth though.

To me it was very frustrating at the beginning. I don't think the Motion Controls worked for me... Even after getting kinda used to them I wasn't able to move my character properly doing exactly what the game suggested.
After Switch(tm)ing to regular controls it was a much better experience and in the end I owned nearly everyone using Mechanica and her electric arms.

I still hope to get more accustomed to Motion Controls, but so far I might stick to a controller. Might even buy the full game later on, since it was really fun and might be cool to play it with my girlfriend or my roommate from time to time.

Switching the camera to another opponent is something that takes getting used to. Only knew about it thanks to users here on GBATemp which you need to use the d-pad for it.

ARMS feels a bit too much for just the Joy-Cons so it's great Nintendo made it compatible with the Pro Controller. :)

Tried it out today, the game is very polished and the graphics are nice.

The motion controls hinder my precision too much and the Pro controller scheme is not very good.

I would not pay full price this game however if the price is lower and the final game allows for full customization of the Pro Controller scheme then yes, I would highly consider buying this game.
