This is a terrible idea that will spread misinformation and get the especially panicky children on this forum to junk their cfw access.
You should do it. I am 100% behind you.
its just a theory and boot9strap cant be deleted im just saying dekete all cias not the cfw itself
Okey I have now removed all Apps and the error messages popped up instantly.
However, I remember when I tried before, it took a little while before it popped up. So let's wait 24 hours and see what happens from there.
Now it's as close as a untouched 3DS it can be.

Interesting, so far I deleted all my Cias, together with their tickets: Mhgen, MHX, Mh3u, Pokemon Moon, Pokemon Y, Mario 3D Land, VC: Zelda Oracle of Seasons and the Classic Mario Bros, MHX data manager and Freeshop (Hellshop) as well so far, Backed up my saves tough, keeping MHXX for now.
I should try to find where I can remove the tickets from older installed titles, aka HBL, and 2-3more Cias I cannot recall right now, hence I have not been able to find and remove them.
Also I checked, and yes spotpass was enabled, I disabled it but since Im banned already it makes little sense, I enabled it again hoping it's going to send info to nintendo with my 3DS's current status.
Since aparently people are reporting that they are getting unbanned, let's hope for the best.

Interesting that people might get unbanned if they delete all cfw apps. But that would be nothing for me because if i delete all cfw cia's and luma i don't need a cfw anymore.
And the tip to stay offline is also nothing for me because if you just stay offline to not get banned you also couldn't use online functions so what's the difference to getting banned?
It would only help if devs can block all the things send to Nintendo and i don't think this will happen. If it's possible Nintendo can change some of the methods in next Firmware Update and it would be the same situation as now after the update is installed.

i have RXtools and havent been banned :V at least i havent check it i dont play online that often and my friends list on rxtools was screwed anyway im thinking that the dlcs are the problem
Just wondering, why are you using rxtools? Has it been recently updated or something?
Im lazy to change to luma and im kinda scared of taking the saves from emunand to a new sd card

Recently I modded some saves from MK8 to get all cups with 3 stars. NOT BANNED
Old3ds brought like 4 years ago (11.4, connected all time with Spotpass on, A9LH with luma 6.3, Freeshop 3.0, no homebrew as channels, All games from freeshop (like 10) Play pkmn Moon early but not banned from that wave. Nothing more than that and... BANNED 002-0102 code on Friend List.
I hope that info can be help to investigate this wave.

I'm sure some Nintendo employee's probably making a game out of this to keep him from going nuts from the tedious banning, lol. "Heads and I'll let this hacker keep playing online.... for now, lmao."
I just woke up from 4 hours of sleep. What's this about uninstalling apps to unban the console?
From what I'm understanding people are saying uninstall anything related to CFW and any pirated games (including tickets), though I may have misunderstood. Not sure how much truth there is to it though.
Following your second prediction, which sounds logical, I think there should be a survey of when people installed their CFW to see if theres any pattern. I still have the date of when I followed the guide and installed my CFW which was during the month of November 2016 and I haven't gotten the ban error. I also think there may be a connection with people on updated versions of Luma or other cfw. Im currently on Luma v6.6

I could've sworn I disabled the send info to Nintendo in settings before. But, low and behold, I looked and it was indeed enabled. I am banned. I also sent out many doodlebombs. Anyone checking doodlebomb relation? I rarely play online. I can't recall the last time I played a game online with my 3DS. Probably MK7. I currently have it installed from FreeShop, although I do own the cartridge and have played it from the cart nearly every time. I also have one out of region game installed from freeshop (puyopuyo tetris).
Edit: My friend is borrowing my O3DSXL. I will have to look at that. I don't know if it has an NNID linked to it. It's also on older firmware and not B9S yet.
