I got O3DS with firmware 1.1.0-0U, but I see web browser on it, I don't want to hard mod it, is there any way to dump OTP.bin without hard mod? and which is best firmware I can upgrade through original game cards, I have 2 game cards 1) Michael Jackson the 3D experience and 2) Spy Hunter.
my hubby is getting his old 3ds on boot9strap so i wanted to be sure of what to do here. what does this mean>>

I am owning a 4.5E o3DS. (Originally 5.x but I downgraded back to when Gateway had came up with a way to do so)
I followed the guide and everything went smooth, but I'm now stuck on installing FBI (Section IV - Injecting FBI)
When injecting to H&S then rebooting, I still have the regular H&S app instead of FBI.
Since, as I mentioned, I recall downgrading my o3DS through my Gateway card, I checked the troubleshooting guide,
however I couldn't confirm the issue described (i.e.: Notice that there are two sets of app and tmd files, one set with uppercase extensions )
So unsure what to do from here, any help appreciated

If you have a way to access homebrew like OoTHax, FreakyHax, NinjaHax, etc. then you can go into HB, use FBI.3dsx to install FBI.cia. You have to turn on SVC patch option in Luma3DS config for this to work.Hey,

Alright thanks, I'll try looking around for that. So there's no fixing the injection in the H&S I suppose?

Just updated the cfw on my o3ds, from arm9 to boot9 without a problem.
But I'm currently sitting on Firmware version 11.2 and my question today is, are there any reasons for me to update to 11.3? or should I stay on my cozy 11.2

No real reason unless you need online play. It also updates to 11.4 from System Settings.
Hm, I don't have issues playing MH online with friends on 11.2, or did they change something when they started to push 11.4?

I don't know if you can get banned unless you used some kind of modz or added a homebrew app as your favorite.
If you cant tell if you're banned you're probably not LOL.
But if you really need to know just launch and online session in any game, it won't ban you to do so.
