Wow, that's not a very nice thing to say. The switch also have a a_maximum resolution of 1080P if you are talking **** like this.
LOZ:BOW won't even run in 720p on a PS3 compared to 900p on a switch
Is only as high as the people will make the resolution of the game. People know the higher resolution of games exist on such consoles while programmers insist on making lower resolution of games. Many games on ps3 and xbox 360 are at 720P while we all know the systems can go up to 1080P, Fact remains that YES switch can go up to 1080P. Will game programmers make their games at 1080P? Depends on their decision, or will it be like last gen and make a bunch of 720P games on a 1080P console when only a few games are at 1080P? As i said but people choose to ignore already.
And that only applies to games that actually do use use those display options. Though we do have to note that Switch is using Nvidia which technically they said the Tegra X1 exceeds ps3 and xbox 360. Is a matter of opinion, so is subjective.

For all we know, the tegra x1 is inside the Nvidia TV and says it has 4K support, who knows, switch might even go higher than 1080P, and we are only talking DOCK CONSOLE MODE. And this is all opinion based on my knowledge not taking it seriously is advised.

On a completely OT comment, I remember how @Saiyan Lusitano mentioned the LA dub of DBZ goes over the edge calling alien races by the full name in Japanese, e.g. people of the planet Namek are called Nameku-sei-jin. How are they called in the castellano dub then?

Can't remember too well because I'd only watch episodes when they were on Cartoon Network, Movistar (formerly known as Digital+) seems to have replaced it with Boing. I'd guess that they were called either "Nameks" or "Namekianos".

The PS3 still holds up very well graphically via hardware HDMI upscaler on a 1080P TV, on the same TV when I change over to the Switch I can instantly see a significant improvement on PQ and that's just from resolution bump to 1080P in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which is a Wii U port.

I think Super Mario Odyssey is going to showcase what the capability of the Switch's Tegra X1 chip can do when developed and optimized from the ground up for the platform, down the line I can see games like Metroid Prime 4 pushing the boundaries of the Switch''s SOC to it's limits and would put any PS3 game to shame in terms of graphics.

Yes, the Cell processor in the PS3 is a beast, but unless I'm mistaken, it wasn't only used for CPU operations. The PS3 was originally planned to utilize 2 Cell processors as CPU and GPU because it handled both so well, but costs prevented it from happening, so they took one out and replaced it with what I think was a rather crappy GPU, and had devs utilizing the already-existing Cell processor to handle both CPU and GPU operations. Hence why it was considered very difficult to develop for, but could do some nice things when utilized properly for its time. In a manner of speaking, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cell processor as a CPU could out-perform the PS4's mobile-like CPU, but we all know the PS4's CPU wouldn't be handling GPU operations at the same time because it doesn't need to.

So as much as it was beast, one can't arguably say what it did CPU-wise for games in general couldn't be done on something like the Switch.

That was not my point. Take for example shovel Knight, a game that could have easily run 4K even on the PS3 and Switch if the hardware supported it.
Resolution is not the main de facto.
A game like LOZ BOW would never have been possible on PS3 due to the complex physics engine.
Resolution is not everything.

Now there are few games that run 720p on a PS4 and there are few games that run 1080p on ps3. Now would you say PS3 was stronger than ps4 if you account for only those games. See? That's what you are trying to say here
